Black Magic Woman was in aeolian mode .
Europa was in aeolian mode .
Moonflower was in aeolian .
Samba Pati starts with an A Dorian minor but it's in the key of G .
I may be wrong but I think that Oye Como Va and Evil ways were about the only song he did in Dorian .

hi eric nice to here back from... your one of the best......i have been playing along time... yoususcion is good for some too but santana i have problems with.....blues rock...and soul no problem ....its the type of playing Dorian thanks my friend
Eric, you Champion, for 12 months I have been trying to understand modes. I was initially taught the 7 shapes in the 7 positions practice them until I could play them by rout. I was then told I could move the shapes wherever and things just got muddier, watching RUclips videos just made matters worse. Your video just clarified modes for me so simple. Thank you very much, and for all the other brilliant lessons.
Same thing happened to me Mick. I had a $50 VHS tape on the subject that only confused me more no matter how hard I studied it. I finally just sat down and looked at the notes and went "WHAAAAT!" People explain this in the most complicated way possible, which tends to make it impossible to get any use out of! Hope to do more on modes in the future! Thanks for watching my friend!
