Can't wait to see the video for this midgrade thunder! Great video, buddy! Blows my mind how you can push these budget RC's to the level that you do. Can't wait to get my thunder right then have some fun with it. I ordered a GPS the other day so hopefully I can do some speed runs with it when it's all said and done. Hey man, how are you? I tried the Laegendary receiver and transmitter on the Lil Sonic, and it works great! I've just gotta get everything mounted like yours. Thanks for showing everything. I told you that I learn from you! 🙂 It's just hard to work on this little truck, you said that yourself though. I'll be watching like always to see how you get those tires mounted. I have the HBX wheels as well but they didn't work for me, even with putting hubs on it. It's like the hubs are not thick enough. I may have to use the HBX hubs bc they are a little thicker. I don't have any hex extenders and that's what I might have to do also. Thanks again!
That's a sharp looking truck! I said this in your short, but I wish I had a truck body shell. All I have are several truggy style body shells. 😒 Oh well, maybe I can manage to get one, one day. Great video, as always!

Yeah, we both had the same 70 mph goal and are getting there is slightly different ways and hope to push what has been done before forward. It is more of a fun rivalry where we compare what worked with each other.
I can’t claim my 68.7 mph speed is legit either…. My new GPS was not inspiring confidence that day and when I took it out yesterday my 4s LIPO had a failed connection from my crash last week so I couldn’t do a backup run with the 19t pinion. So my real top speed so far is only 65 mph as far as I am concerned.
We are definitely not getting a prize if one of us “wins”. 😂. But… we can dream.

@@MattysRCWorld ty sir,it's been a project since about March, when I crashed it and totaled it basically I said then I would rebuild it for a speed only truck and either buy the stronger parts or have them made, had to do a little of both, but she is together. Not gonna release what it ran on 3S Saturday on it's first shakedown pass but I don't see 100mph being a problem with the correct tires. Got those on the way from Hoosier 😉
