My dad got the coronavirus, he was seriously hospitalized for a few days. These were difficult times of uncertainty, fear and anguish. At that moment I wanted to disappear, to get away from everything and everyone, I just wanted to cry. This song came to me by chance when I was on youtube trying to hear something to refresh my head. Listening to her was as if God touched my heart and said to me: calm down, your dad will be fine, I am with him, I am with you! I heard it several times looking at the sky, little by little this anguish was diminishing and a peace flooded my soul. So I thanked God, my body was light, it was a force pulsing and shining before me. Days later, my dad got better and went home. I adopted this song as the soundtrack of my life. I always listen to my dad and we cry together listening to the beautiful message transmitted. I love you dad, very much, you are my hero.

This video makes me feel so nostalgic. Enya's song brings me back to listening to that original soundtrack album in November of 2001. It's almost impossible to imagine that it's been 14 years (!) since 'The Fellowship of the Ring' was released. It makes me feel so old... :) It's easy to underestimate just how much of an impact seeing this film upon its original release had on me. To this day, I don't think anything else sends chills down my spine the way this film does.
I'm starting to think the same. The score of the trilogy evokes more emotion than I have ever had in any other film soundtrack. I'm a huge John Williams fan and Michael giacinno but Howard shore did masterful work and it's enchanting.
I've been getting through this quarantine and social distancing by binge watching all the Extended Editions of The Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings. 18 hours of epic tales from Middle Earth. Far from Corona and Covid-19.
Same her and I’ve never been so emotional watching these movies before. The end of Return of the King when everyone bowed to the hobbits had me SOBBING
Words seem futile to express how good this movie is; how ecclesiastical Enya's voice is overflowing with opium of peace, love and harmony; how timeless the cinematography and musical scores are. It's a gift to treasure for life for mankind.

Liaten to it almost daily now.
I have gone on 6 medical leaves from an illness that had me on/off a feeding tube for a decade. I watched all my friends pass me by and graduate from college. 14 years after my first day, I finally finish next week and graduate May 21st. It was the worst experience of my life, but watching lotr gives me hope in the journey that is life. I make art and studied it. I finally feel like I am beginning to bloom. Our hard times happen at different times. No one has it the worst. Each person's pain, grief, and climb is valid. I try to remember each of us is on a journey to break through the evil and darkness in the world. It seems impossible. But the journey is as important as the peak. You are not alone. The energy of the elves, ents, hobbits, dwarves, men, and Tolkien's world reminds us that we can find peace and strength within ourselves and overcome together.

My mom ladies and gentlemen but what are we talking about, my favorite movie, the most beautiful ever, spectacular in everything; from the landscape to the makeup of the characters, the breathtaking soundtrack the war scenes and a never ending story thrills just to see it again there is little to do is the best fantasy film in the world there can be a comparison or comparison only with the throne of swords that is approaching but still insurmountable and I have said it all
Tears every time
I need it cause the power company cut our connection. I wasnt able to pay the bill
I've watched this movie again after so many years and I can't describe how much it means to me. I grow up watching this trilogy, reading its books and playing its games. It's like an overdose of feelings and memories of my childhood. I'm so grateful to these people who dedicated themselves to making these amazing masterpieces. I wish they've put the same effort and soul while making Hobbit. The best film series ever.
Ali Alga same here, when I was 14 I would watch it every day for 3 months straight during summer holidays
Lotr gave me so much

I share the same feelings when this song comes on... its just so much
The best feelings for most of us 🔥
This feels like millions of emotions hitting you at the same time 😌😭
As close to perfection as a film can be.
Her voice sounds like an Angel
+Jan Kolata and lisa kelly - may it be
Super Cat more like an elf😂👍🏻
After being bullied in school and people in my hometown that I went to school with when I see them at a store or downtown or a restaurant they never say hello I can truly say that to music here allows me to go to a very special place where they and others that have treated me so badly to not go if the doctor's right I may have 2 to 5 years left because of heart attack 4 years ago I use this music to calm myself down and actually to let my heart rest and someone here said that they are Irish I do have Irish blood in me and listening to all of her songs I realize that my Irish blood prefers Irish music and it just doesn't get any better than this
An elf*
You dont know how an angel sounds like 🙈
Enya must be a descendant of Aragorn and Arwen. Her voice sounds very elven. Love it
Well said
Actually, Enya was once in the group Secret Garden and I believe she's related to one of the members (a sister?).

I thought so too
@@nancydemoss7904 are you sure? Enya is from Ireland, Secret Garden is from Norway.Enya was iwith her sister in the band "Clannad"
Tonight, I finished this trilogy again. There will be none like it. To J.R.R Tolkien and Peter Jackson, thank you for bringing this story to us...
Enya was robbed of an Oscar for this ethereal song; it's so heavenly sounding, haunting and beautifully orchestrated; one of my favourite movies (trilogy) with fantastic acting.
Absolutely!
I have nothing against that Monsters, Inc song which won but who remembers it now?
wait she lost to a disney song god damn it i feel pissed now lol.
GOT desperately wishes it was LOtR. Nothing will ever top this trilogy. It was and is perfection transformed into film, into sound, into experience; into memory.
watching the 3 now with my daughter and she cant believe how good it is or was.
NOTHING 🔥
@@jonm2522 yes spread it to the generations 👏👏
My Christmas Routine...LOTR and The Hobbit........25th and 26th December.......Binge watching
One of the best stories ever written, transformed into some of the best movies ever made. GoT is a good show, but it's not the best out there, and now that it's finished, especially considering the failure that the last season was, it will be soon forgotten, but the Lord of The Rings will never be.
I felt the chills , tears and joy of a child that discovers a new World as I devoured Peter Jackson´s Trilogy
At the same time I sadened , because it was all clear to me , that it was a once in a Lifetime experience
The Authenticity , mood , vision and passion of those Movies can never be duplicated again
Me too.
This is such a heart-breakingly beautiful song it brought me to tears.

Beautiful and nostalgic.
My absolute favorite sang, of all.
A few years ago, I was life-threateningly ill, and did not know if I was surviving. I told my loved ones that MAY IT BE, should be played for my funeral if I did not survive.
Luckily I beat cancer.

Congratulations to YOU...!
When life is overpowering I turn to these movies.

@Akon Ali ok .👍

I just can't believe that 20 years have passed since the release of the first film ... I watched the video, listened to the song and wanted to watch the film again ... The best of the best ...
The trilogy was so epic that those who made it doesn't even know how to ever make it again.....truely EPIC.
May it be an evening star
Shines down upon you
May it be when darkness falls
Your heart will be true
You walk a lonely road
Oh! How far you are from home
Mornie utulie
Believe and you will find your way

A promise lives within you now
May it be the shadow's call
Will fly away
May it be your journey on

When the night is overcome
You may rise to find the sun

I am not sure that she is singing “May it be your journey on”. I think it might be: “May it be you journey on”.
Beautiful
fb robert maris wongso (robert wongso rezki) comment, thanks for the lyrics.
May God bless you my friend. At your darkest time you actually accepted what was happening. And that song spoke to you by saying may it be(let it be) I hope you and your loved ones are well.
Man now that is some bravery you have
I'm glad. Cherish the time that has been given to you both.
I will borrow your strength if I may.
My father passed away recently from the virus, and I will have this song play at his funeral.

Good.🌷
danwithjesus Which language is the word “Mornie utilize” from?
@@user-kq5hc9sd3q - Quenya, one of Tolkien's Elvish languages.
It's worth noting that "darkness has fallen" has the same meaning in idiomatic English as "darkness has come". However, in the song the meaning of 'fall' is 'downfall' - darkness has fallen into destruction / been overthrown.
Just William best comment ever
LOTR FOTR was the first film I saw that made me realise just what film was capable of. Transporting us to another world...bringing that world vividly to life...these movies were of a different spirit than any that I'd seen before. A credit to Tolkien himself, and to the filmmakers.
THE BEST SCENES THE BEST SOUNDTRACKS THE BEST HISTORY THE LORD OF THE RINGS IS A MASTER PIECE
I get so depressed after watching the third movie, every single time 'cause I won't be able to see any more of this masterpiece
There's the books themselves, and of course DVD/Blu-Ray, streaming, etc. The movies took too many liberties with the books, but I still loved them.
Angelic voisce.the movies itself is the bestnow n many years more to come. jude john Sabah Mal.
It's not just a movie, It's EPIC. The Magic n the Memory of it can never be recreated.

Among the most beautiful melodies ever written to accompany a masterpiece film.
Just discovered her after 76 years - I am totally stunned - and transported to Heaven. This is the most beautiful song ever composed and sung - no question.
This video makes me feel so nostalgic. Enya's song brings me back to listening to that original soundtrack album in November of 2001. It's almost impossible to imagine that it's been 14 years (!) since 'The Fellowship of the Ring' was released. It makes me feel so old... :)
It's easy to underestimate just how much of an impact seeing this film upon its original release had on me. To this day, I don't think anything else sends chills down my spine the way this film does.

The soundtrack of the Felloship of the Ring is the first CD I ever bought with my own money. What a masterpiece, both the Movie and its soundtrack
Omg, same...😌☺️💜
It still amazes me how perfectly evocative this soundtrack is. This trilogy may be the single greatest soundtrack in all of film.
I'm starting to think the same. The score of the trilogy evokes more emotion than I have ever had in any other film soundtrack. I'm a huge John Williams fan and Michael giacinno but Howard shore did masterful work and it's enchanting.
100 years from now, people will be amazed by these moviews and hear these beautiful songs.
LOTR is definitely the most epic and unforgettable trilogy that I've ever watched
Something as great as this will never happen in the movie industry ever again.

Wrong film as this song played at the end of Fellowship.
"The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring"
Words seem futile to express how good this movie is; how ecclesiastical Enya's voice is overflowing with opium of peace, love and harmony; how timeless the cinematography and musical scores are. It's a gift to treasure for life for mankind.
This is what a movie made with love looks like
OH HELL YEAH
Peter Jackson hates Tolkien and his work with a burning passion,as evidenced by what he has done to it,because he himself is nothing more than a two- bit hack with no talent, just like J.K Rowling

During the night preceding a fairly serious operation(the 2nd in 3 days),sleep was not happening,so listened to music from cellphone, over headphones, this is one song of a series that came up,just before being hauled off to the OR I listened to it several times back to back, and as the happy gas was about to flow, let it play in my mind-soothing,and if I was not to return,I can thinl of worse things to hear at the end !
Liaten to it almost daily now.
Yep.
i just finished fellowship of the ring.
Always.
Always my friend.
Never forget. Never forget what they took from you
best of both worlds : Enya and LOTR ,just magic !!
Something meant to be.
