What an excellent video. Patti's brownie ice cream dish looked sooooooo good! And yes, Rob your "slow-moving vehicle" looked pretty good too. Thanks for sharing a little back story about the place as well. It's always good to see a family-owned business thrive out in the "middle of nowhere".

As I said in the video… When I first heard somebody was building an ice cream place in the middle of nowhere, I thought yeah that’s gonna last three months. Boy was I wrong. Really good stuff there. The butter pecan is really amazing.

Oh man, I bet that was the best ice cream you'll every taste! Patti's brownie sundae would be my pick as well. Nothing beats ice cream on a summer day, and it sure beats sitting on your couch posting on Facebook nonstop. Much love from the Rob Mob!

Yeah, what’s with those people that seem to do nothing but post on Facebook weird conspiracy theories. Do they actually believe that stuff or are they just trying to get clicks?. Yes that’s Patti‘s regular go to that ice cream place. I switch it up a little bit, but often find myself Going for that turtle sundae. It’s going to get really hot here this weekend. I bet that place is going to be jumping.

    Thanks Rob! [OBJ]
I've had a really bad start to the month but its the little things like ice cream that make things just a little better, even if it is just looking at someone else eating it. Thx!

Well, I am sorry you’re having a bad start to your month. But, you are right the small things in life can make things feel good for a while. I’m guilty of not remembering that from time to time. Patti usually reminds me that we have it pretty good and things will get better. I hope things start turning around for you soon.

So some might call their ice cream “The Best Ice Cream You’ll Ever Taste”, but dont need to specifically say it when the ice cream speaks for itself.
I’m dying to try this place and put a little sticker from my hometown as I see no one from here has placed a sticker on the map.

Dang… I should’ve named the video that. I hope you do get a chance one day to visit Kelley’s creamery. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. And if you do find yourself in this part of the world, message me. I might even treat.

Wow Rob, can't believe I'm late to a fresh upload of your video! The ice cream store visit really sent both you and Patti over the moon! (a special gentleman somewhere will argue that phrase is irrelevant because we've not been to the moon before).

Well, you’re not the only one that seems to be late viewing this video. I actually thought this one would get a lot more hits because of all the hot weather and the fact that this really is the best ice cream you can get in the middle of nowhere. Some might even say “It’s the best you’ll every taste”.
I think I need to examine further that “not been to the moon” story a little more. Of course we were to the moon. Back in 1969 we did not have the technology to cover up a conspiracy that big. Special effects were not at the level that would be able to pull something like that off. I guess in a way I feel a bit sorry for those that are that gullible to fall into a conspiracy trap like that.

I like that you added a bit of history that makes a place sound interesting instead of just being like "Taste GUD" Plus it's refreshing not hearing people snipe at each other or the staff. If I'm ever near Fon Du Lac again I'll definitely look for this place.

I like learning new things about places I visit. I did a little bit of research before we went there this time and was surprised to learn of the history of the Kelley family in that area. I guess it’s a little bit of Ireland right there. In the early spring, they open up their farm for a couple weekends so families can go there with little kids to see all the baby animals that are born around that time of year. It’s really a fun thing to do if you have little kids.

Ah, of course some random location in the middle of the Dairy State would have great ice cream!

Oh, yes! We got lucky. It’s only about a 10 minute drive, but like we said, we try not to go there too often. Sometimes I do buy a quart of butter pecan to bring home. But… As of late, I’m trying to watch carbs and ice cream really doesn’t fit into that diet very well. Patti sometimes buys sugar-free butter pecan. That stuff should be banned from all grocery stores.

@@RobMilanowski Oh yeah, I could see that being real dangerous. I used to live next door to one of LA's best & oldest donut shops and, as great as it was, it was just not great for my health.
