I actually gasped when you pulled out the first one. IT'S SO PRETTY 😭 Girl, protect it with your life. 😂 I started collecting cool editions of Agatha Christie novels as a teenager but stopped in college. I might continue someday.

The Wordsworth Classics are pretty gorgeous. Wuthering Heights just came out but there's a whole gorgeous collection. I have a few, quality is fantastic.
I wish more booktubers would do videos of their collections. I really like videos like these. Also it makes me feel better about my own collection lol cuz I always get asked why I have so many copies of certain books lol. I recently started collecting different editions of "the night circus" and "the starless sea".

You’ve got some great editions! I always make sure to check out the Bronte section at the book stores to see if there are any unique copies 😊
Dracula and Frankenstein have a lot of pretty editions. I was out and saw new Puffin editions of both and they are beautiful with vibrant crazy colors. They are also very cheap for a hardbound book.
These are all so pretty! Especially the one at 7:02, the little details inside are great!

I collect Pride & Prejudice editions, I have read that book at least once a year since I was 16. Such a comfort read for me. Just treated myself to the winter edition last month! I also collect Anne Rice first editions first printings. I love Wuthering Heights too so I am considering the Winter edition of that book, I have an old boring looking edition from high school lol. That watercolor edition is gorgeous!!!

I struggle with classics but I made a goal to try and read 4 this year. Wuthering Heights was one I've always been interested in even though I've never been able to actually read it. lol You should do a Wuthering Heights read-a-long. :)

I recently unhauled an edition of Dracula, because I'm trying to make more space for other books, and curb my addiction to multiple editions of the same book. But now I'm watching this and ... man those are some gorgeous books.

Talking about foreign editions, the older Romanian version of Wuthering Heights is amazing, even better than the original, if possible. I own a couple of copies and I would send you one if you could read it, even though it's quite old.
Old copies are so great!
Black Amber by Phyllis A. Whitney. So many copies of that. My two favorites are one where MF's in the city holding a white cat with blue domed buildings in the background and another with nice brown tones where she's standing in a window with a cat at her feet.

Wuthering Heights is also one of my favourites but I don't have nearly as many editions! I did get the Seasons Edition - Winter one, for Christmas last year. so pretty! I also have the Harper Teen edition (circa 2009).

@@JashanaC not sure about the rest of people, but for me every year I add a few pretty classic editions to my christmas list from family (and this is the time of year they start asking me for ideas). Thus I have been watching a ton of book hauls/collection videos to see what's out there (my new love - though I currently have none - is the Chiltern classics editions, so I have been watching practically all the videos that mention one of those books which then leads me to other similar videos).

is the 12:02 readable? in terms of font and spacing, could u compare it with other publishers? just asking because i have poor eyesight so small fonts stress my eyes lol and i plan to buy a collection from arcturus for their affordable price but i don’t wanna regret it afterwards haha
So the font is a little small, in my opinion. It’s about the same size as a couple of Tor books I compared to (but one Tor had bigger font… wtf) BUT it’s pretty close together also. So I think if you have eyesight issues it might very likely give you trouble 😫
The Penguin Classics Deluxe Edition, is not an us edition. Its the same edition wether you are in the uk Europe or in the us. There are US Penguin deluxe editions that are different , but the Couture collection is not among them.

OOF! Yeah I rarely spend more than $10-$15 on a single book. Most of these copies were used, and I'm totally fine with that since it saves me moolah. :D

Nope they’re just the synopsis and then straight into the book text - no annotations or notes or anything. That’d be so cool though!

I just don't understand why you think that people who appreciate the beautiful poetic writings of Emily Bronte would want to hear you describe her book as "just effin gorgeous."
Well because not everyone is that fussy or judgmental. I don’t speak according to how I think random other people might “want” to hear me speak.
You can go clutch your pearls elsewhere & keep your judgments to yourself.
