Thank you so much for sharing this pattern, I just made this beanie in a smaller size than you made it as I needed it for a newborn baby so I didn’t increase as many stitches on the crown of the beanie as the video shows and fewer rows and it came out perfect, I used a similar color worsted yarn Caron Simply Soft yarn in a lilac colour and I used a 4.5mm crochet hook and I’m going to crochet a flower in white yarn to sew on the beanie. Thank you so much, this is a really nice stitch! I am new to crocheting but I made it myself.

I saw that, but I've never made a hat for a 3 year old before. I've made baby and adult sizes so I know how to increase and decrease, but I can't tell how large this hat is without completing it. I don't wanna make it and it be too small or add unnecessary rows and end up too large. You explain everything else very well and make it look really easy, I just wanted to know what size the one you made is so I can adjust accordingly.

The circumference for a 3 years old hat is aprox 50cm, and the lenght is like 17cm. The one that I made is for a 3 months old baby :)
