Really wish this song was longer!!!!
I cannot believe I had not heard of this excellent group til about ten minutes ago by accident. They pretty much sum up the sound of my youth, but bring a more contemporary edge to it. Bless!
After listening to this song for years. I finally realized what Steven Smith is. He’s Heroin. “One look at you and the’yre suddenly covered in shrapnel too.” “Barrels rolled and hammers drawn, grab that gun and we’ll drive around til there’s no sound” it’s all a big heroin reference.
This group was excellent, i love these sensibility, the katie´s voice is like an angel. I have a great´s memories whith the songs of The Organ.
These girls made two musical gems. Maybe some day the general public, finally intelligent and refined, will discover them in 1000 years

if it hasn't been said, i dont mind repeating it, this is an absolute PERFECT song, back in the day... man youd have had your own magazines, refrigerator magnets... you have a couple of great songs, band.

Yes, I heard the girls couldn't get along.
They did release a wonderful EP 'Sinking hearts' before 'Grab that gun, though. Two bonus tracks and some tracks off of 'Grab' but (very) alternate versions. And they released the wonderful!! 'Thieves'-ep after their split. Totally worth checking out if you haven't already.
