My next door neighbors are lead singers & instrumentalists in a great local band here on Maui. Their music drifts thru my window all the time. They've done 2 livestream shows in last couple of months-- in the big field right across from our houses. I'm so blessed! Larkin Poe is in my top 10 favorite bands of all time.

Major Frank Vozak, US Army Retired and a 44 year retired employee at a VA Hospital, the nephew of a WWII Navy Aircraft Radio Operator lost at sea in the war and a Sargeant Father who crossed No Africa and Italy during WWII (dad was drafted in December 1940-with the initial military draft in the US preparing for WWIII These young women are excellent musicians and have beautiful voices but do they compare to Bonnie Raitt, Big Momma Thorton, BB King, Eric Clapton, Butterfield Blues Band, the Al Kooper Super sessions, Buddy Guy.... But really I thank this two youn g women for dedicating this concert to people in the military and vets.
Frank Vozak...Army veteran here, son of a WWII Navy veteran, father of a Navy veteran and brother of a retired Navy Captain. Thank you for your service. The girls are standing on the shoulders of all the great artists that you mentioned...as they are always quick to mention. The common thread of all those seminal artists is that...those that are still alive...like me, are north of 70. Megan has barely cracked her 30s, and Rebecca is close on her heels. Let’s give them a few more decades to see how many other that they will have influenced. Having met the sisters and marveled at their live performances, I’m just glad that they brighten my world.

Acoustic is the real deal, when it comes to song and play pure. Listen to old clay records, and noticed there are no mix boards involved, so pure as songs as this band .
I love that in this recording of "Bleach Blonde Bottle Blues" that you can really hear the slide guitar. Megan = #SlideQueen! Love you girls so much, I have been a huge fan since Kin and things just keep getting better.
