My Grandparents used to come here each year when I was a kid. My grandfather had terrible arthritis in his hands, but after a weekend in the hotsprings, he could open and close his hands fully and didn't have (as many) aches and pains that accompany old age. Quite the healing waters.
This is one of the best videos about the resort and the pools. Thank you for the fabulous information and details. We are planning to take Amtrak from California to Glenwood Springs in November!! Brrrrrr!!!!!!
High praise! Thank you! And I am so envious of your upcoming trip! We were just on a little vacation in Glenwood over the weekend and saw the California Zephyr train stop in town each day. Have fun!
Great question! No, you do not have to stay at the resort to access the pool. You can buy a pool pass separately, which is something a lot of people do every day. Staying at the resort just means that the pool pass is included. :)
I'm sure that's true. We always go during the off peak season and that's why we suggest other people do the same. Otherwise it can get really expensive!
My staycation spot. I go 2 times a year. Make my body feel brand new

Do they have lap lanes?
If so, what’s the lap lane water temperature and lane length?
Thanks.
They have like four lanes. Lane water is like 94° as is the rest of the large pool.
@@HashtagColoradoLife thank you.
Seems it would be hard to get in a serious swim at that temperature.
I swear Colorodo is the most beautiful state
We agree! It's a beautiful place to live and to visit.

Yes, we love visiting the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool and the town has so many fun things to do too. Hope you can visit!
How much is a day pass for the hot spring pool?
During the winter season the price for a day pass is between $29-39 per day.
It' s $700+ a night at that hotel at peak times.
