To sum it up, they hate God because he allowed evil to exist (even though we would not know what was good without evil) and they think having faith in God is too much of a burden and want to live life however they see fit and not the way God wants them to. The first reason doesn't make much sense and the second is just kinda selfish and lazy in my opinion, but at the end of the day it's their choice, not mine. God won't force himself into anyone's life, all he offers is an invitation.
