34067 Tangmere | The Scarborough SPA Express | Castleford Station | 27th June 2024

SR Battle of Britain class no 34067 Tangmere rolls into Castleford Station and collects passengers with the first WCR summer charter of 2024, The Scarborough SPA Express from Carnforth to Yorkshire Coast. Later the return summer train rolls into the new platform 2 of Castleford Station and first time in nearly 8 years since a steam locomotive stopped at the Station and a first for the new at platform 2, allowing passengers to get off and departs for Carnforth.
