Ah, the green dragon or in this case black dragon in all her glory. The "ironclads" are my favourite victorian era loco for the LMS.

Seeing 7714 rollin' smooth in black makes it look like a super swell engine. Honestly, black makes _everythang_ look slimming and unique in its modest essence ✨️✨️ 7714 looks like an engine that would absolutely make good friends with Salty.

A great day out, but unfortunately, the trains were packed to capacity with standing room only on most trains. I'm 75 years of age and was not offered a seat by younger travellers and tell me why a seat has to be occupied with a haversack? In future, I will aim to travel the following week if a mini gala is to be held, as once before and the guest locos used.

When I saw the both railtours. at st albans the railtour was leading D1924 and a scotrail livery 47 so interesting to see it reversed and changed loco and Black 5 is the first steam train i have ever seen what a day. Great video
