First focus on economy then make army, and also you need more in first line so they can carry the flanks and have some support ofc. I was able to literally control the world as Bulgaria in 1354 that way. From a nearly doomed nation to the 1st world power. Build Temples as much as you can cuz they give money.
@@stopitcrazy nah ngl me personally i like that and its a feature in most similar games to this (age of history 2 for example) and its kinda a hassal if you need to invade two countries but theyre allied with eachother

Hey I might be a little late, but when you are choosing provinces to annex you can use the brush tool and just click and drag the states you want
