Epyons beam sword is probably one of the strongest melee weapons in the metaverse.
I like Sazabi/Sinanju beam axe/sword, but the Epyon sword is a beast.

I don't know much about the gundam universe, but Epyon is the first gundam figure I ever had as a kid and I loved it as if it was a living pet, so I agree XD

That's not a model sword, that's a actual sword.
@@antoniocurcio693 a regular katana is about 70-80cm long. A PG of the 150 Gerbera Straight would be 2.5 meters long.

I've only seen one, I think it was a 1/100 scale (Maybe 1/144?), but scratch-built to scale with the model. It was in a Hobby Japan magazine, I believe, quite a few years ago now. At the time I didn't know it was canon and thought they just wanted make a human-scale Gerbera Straight by itself.
Pg astray sword isn't just a massive sword it can also transform into shield, jetpack, claw backpack and a bowgun

The HG Gundam Schwarzritter has a pretty awesome Sword too! It's wing pack pops off to become twin heavy blades the Flügel Messers, which then combined to form the huge Flügel Schwert claymore!
I’m kinda sad double O’s XNR buster sword didn’t make the list. Slender as Seed but are as big as 7 swords buster; plus can split into 2 swords.
Since Mecha divided the raiser and seven sword I think xn raiser supposed to be one of this
I didn't want to saturate the list too much with 00 buster swords, and out of the bunch it was the most basic so it got axed.

For reference Sword Impulse comes with a pair of Excalibur swords. They extend before you can put the beam effects on, and you can join them together pommel to pommel to make them into an even longer weapon. But they do lack the presence of buster-style weapons.

Pg perfect strike is my first PG and is an 11/10 absolute unit compared to my 2 MG's.

Robbe De Brauwer Mostly the same except the blue frame sword transform into Gatling gun while the red frame sword became some sort of crossbow.
@@VicariusTV as stated by king belial, they're different, bow VS gatling, and they fold the opposite way.
In addition to the differet hilt; Blue's is a standard sword style while Red Kai's is a removable beam rifle, they also have a few exclusive modes; Red includes a "flight mode" and a handle to be used as a claw mode, while Blue can remove the blades to use the gatling gun by itself or mount the blades to it's arms with a beam effect.
I'm disappointed myself.
During this video I grabbed my Astaroth Rinascimento to adjust it's sword pose and the bottom half of it did its best impression of a nuke hitting Hiroshima, took a couple minutes just to find all the pieces great sword but damn does it fall apart easy.
I personally love the PG Astray Red Frame katana. Such a beautiful sword and looks amazing since it's chromed and has that katana wave along the blade.

Red Frame Kay was my first Gunpla ^^ just because of this massiv sword.
This model was an pretty hard start for someone with nearly no experience with model kits but it fixed me well :D
I am conflicted. I am disappointed the the 00 Quanta"s GV Sword V wasn't in first place (it being my absolute favorite weapon. It's nice that it's number 2 though). But I love transforming, multipurpose weapons, so the weapon that was number 1 makes me happy.

The Qan[T] Gundam is my fave when it comes to huge sword esp. the GN Sword IV - full Saber and the GN Sword V full form.
The Gerbera Straight of the Red Frame PG is AWESOME! Also can pass as a kitchen knife or a lette opener haha

Loved this much more than I want to admit xD
i actually found a fix for flimsy arms and joints if u fill the connecting joint with a small bit of cotton from a cotton ball or que tip it actually can tighten the joint a bit allowing some more support i did this with most of my beginner high grade torsos as i noticed they were kind of weak and the models torso would detach very easily.

I have the MG Astray Blue Frame Second Revise, and its tactical arms are pretty dope as well!
It couldn’t be considered a sword. Not really. It was more akin to a giant slab of sharpened iron.
The swords from the turn red are my favorite they can turn into turrets that attach to the back pack now that versatile swords there
I gotta say these are awesome swords. But the red and blue astray frame swords just blows my mind. It even looks like you can use it as a dagger

Hobby Frontline have just gotten the PG Red Frame Kai back in stock, you've tempted me to get one.
Having a PG ARF Kai myself, I can honestly say, it's "sword" is huge, epic, and amazing. The kit looks badass and can't wait for a review on the MG. 😁

Got Daban's 8812&8814 Metal Build Astray Red Frame with the Powered Arms and has the Tactical Arms II&Gerbera Straight Swords.
Geez, not only does 00 have the biggest and coolest swords, it also had that huge beam saber that everyone thought was just a beam before it started swinging, they really went all out with 00's design.
And the Trans Am Raiser that plays at this moment. Peak epic.
It was my fourth year of Gunpla when it came out, and it was my first "preorder" (bought on hlj on the day of release but didn't know how to preorder). I love the Qan/T Full Saber. Massive swords in my favourite color scheme and design.

The PG Red Frame Kai is one of those half p bandai kits. It comes with waterslides but it retails around the 300 USD area.

Mecha, just an FYI, pg red frame kai is a "standard release" in the US. there's one sitting on the shelf of my local hobby shop (unless someone bought it in the last couple of days) and it's easily the 5th+ they've brought in.

Technically a beam saber, but damn if I don't love the sword of the Gundam Tryon from Build Fighters Try. That one was so over the top large. I still want a MG of the Tryon.
It probably wouldn't place on this list, but, the HG Nu Zeon has a perfect grade Astray beamsaber. It's a monstrous beam!
00 gundams fold up sword also comes with HG gn-001 exia repair II and the 00 quanta's bits are for the quanta system a.k.a teleportation through quantum brainwaves (setsuna is an inavator)

You should give Mechanicore's 1/120 Deep Striker Gundam a shot, it is nothing like Bandai's Deep Striker Gundam, and it is one of the most badass looking Gunpla kit to date in my opinion.
This is great, because I have a Red Frame Kai MG in my backlog. OVERSIZED BOW-SWORD-WING, HERE I COME!

I'm sad. I bought the sandrock on recommendation of this video, and now one of the heat shotels is broken. Don't know whether i'm going to replace it or not, as it's not a part i can just glue on and be done with. The backpack connector broke off in the backpack.
00's GN Sword 3 is my all time favorite Gundam weapon
V zeons zeonic sword is not only huge, but transforms into a bow gun and an even bigger beam sword of about 13 inches if I remember correctly

Mine is Raiser sword. The giant one that Setsuna made in the anime. Can’t get much bigger than that for me.
It is on the list. It's just that making one in 1/144 scale would be, well, a bit impractical.

I've got the mastergrade blue frame astray tactical arms. It's a super bad ass kit. But I very much intentionally leave the tactical and blade... Not in blade mode. I barely have the space and I definitely don't have the stands for it lol
