Not to bring up an old video, but I've been looking around for that shift knob forever. I really want one for my new-to-me NC track toy. What is it? Looks delrin.
Thanks , rev limiter is at 7,500rpm. I usually shift at 7,000 but at some tracks it helps to use extra rpms and skip up shifting for very short time . It is not too healthy for this type of engine but it can take it from time to time.
@@driver46 i have a 07 NC GT w/ stock 2.0 rn and I've been contemplating forking the $20k for the darkside LS swap but the 2.5 swap is so simple and doesn't require a full rebuild of the car and I'll be tracking/autoX'ing the car. Goodwin Racing has a few NC builds and one is a 2.5T and i believe they faceplated/dog-ringed the 6spd. they didn't really talk about it a whole lot in the video so maybe it was some 1-off thing

It is from Japanise market , I think it is Rev9 name of the company that sell them online .
Love watching your driving mate, do you run a rev limiter on that tune?
Thanks , rev limiter is at 7,500rpm.

damn that's crazy with the rotor!!! fantastic driving by the way. do you plan on turbo'ing that 2.5 in the future at all?
Thanks, I might but transmissions are pretty weak so I am afraid it won't last at all the way I am using it .
@@driver46 really? That’s a bummer, I hadn’t seen much about weak trans in the NC. I was hoping to get an upgrade there moving from an NA
@@Hashi-Maru those are not weak for street use but on the track with more power and torque it won't last long .
@@driver46 I was looking to do rotrex for track use. It's a lot easier on drivetrains than a turbo though, so I might be ok.
