Wow, on the day of cement pouring it appeared that it went from cloud to rain to sun - nice end for the guys working. Great handling of machinery by those guys, all of them worked so well as a team. Roy must have been happy when his feral dad gave him a snuggle at the end of the day, haha. This house is HAPPENING, haha! So happy for you guys.
Well, what a video. Those footings are unbelievable. The precision of the work carried out is amazing, those guys certainly know what they are doing. So delighted for you, love from Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim.
Considering some of the scary stories we heard earlier seeing those footings was such a relief. And also an endorsement of what we intuited all along. I’d forgotten about Noel’s dream where he went under the ground and saw the stone footings. Maybe the house really was trying to communicate with us after all! 😃🙌❤️
What a wonderful day for you both and of course Roy! I felt so sorry for Noel at the start of this video, he sounded so despondent. I hope now the footings are in Noel is feeling much brighter.
Hi Jill, well they look like they know what they're doing, great to see and that little house was so well built for a single storey, such deep footings. Noel is getting hairier by the minute😂. Great progress.❤
Great video Noel and Jill, great progress, this work brings me back to my working days,I enjoyed every minute. Long may you live and enjoy this homestead kind regards Sean
What a big step forward! Congratulations! Will interior stick walls be faster to build than block walls, or slower, or the same? Might be easier to run electrics through. Thanks for another interesting vlog!
It’s going to be block work now anyway as that’s what the building engineer insists on. The block layer is throwing them up pretty quickly and we’re ahead of schedule atm. 😊🙌🤞
If only we could create a system that people would be able to use for communicate easily and rapidly and sharing documents, maybe in a electronic way; it would be so useful! And concerning tool of the future, I love the wood-equipped shovel!
wow wow! It's all happening. Jill, please ask Noel to clean the lens on his camera from time to time. I know he is taking the pictures and sending them to you then you are uploading to RUclips, so maybe a bit of resolution is lost, but most of us using our phone camera forget to clean the lens. Today the video looked a bit blurry!! (I do have very aged eyes!!) This is really getting exciting now. I feel very sorry for you not being there.
Yes!!! As we speak he now has a radiator in the caravan and has enjoyed a slow cooked stew for dinner. He’s in heaven! More about this in next video. 😃🙌❤️

It’s lovely and fascinating to watch the teamwork isn’t it. Wish I’d been there, but glad he managed to get some footage. 👍❤️
Big jump in the progress now. It easier to see the layout of the extension now. Great video
Absolutely. Exciting!

Great footage Noel…Such progress 👏👏👏Bit of a cringe near the well 😩…I can imagine you would like to be there Jill.
Yes, I missed all the exciting bits. Still, I’m glad to know it’s happening. Noel’s making good progress. 👍🏡
@@TheHiddenHouseIreland Yes he is making great progress…you must be so proud of him.
This really is a red letter day! I’m so pleased to read in the comments that the electricity is on and Noel and Roy have a cosy caravan.

I know, I thought that too when editing. I already knew that he was feeling happier but it’s tough watching him struggling in real time on camera.

Seeing the flashbacks to 22 and 23 really shows the progress that's been made. Exciting!

That shovel thing did make Noel laugh. 🤣🙌
@@TheHiddenHouseIreland Best tool ever!

I will do, although I fear it’s the low resolution rather than dirt on the lens.
Dont worry! At 78, my eyes are ageing faster than your building work. Have fun.@TheHiddenHouseIreland
I take it the “experts” didn’t come to blows then? Looking good!
No, it got sorted. Just annoying as avoidable with better communication.
Lucky you spotted this😢
Wow it's really moving along! Did you get the electricity connected?
Yes!!! As we speak he now has a radiator in the caravan and has enjoyed a slow cooked stew for dinner. He’s in heaven! More about this in next video. 😃🙌❤️
