      Probably people are just in the zone of looking-from one recipe to the next, they forget to treat each channel? Separate and put a thumbs up - then go on to the next thing to look at while still in-the-zone I’m sure 99% of the lookers on did like this place, because I sure do! With some people saying that they have made this great at least 6 times, while each recipe makes 2 loaves, and one lady saying she sold the loaves of bread for $5.00 each for her daughters cheerleading organization. Nice of her to do this, making a simple bread in these times today where a loaf of bread means a lot. Sometimes the shelves at the store are empty, so this was extra nice🤗 thank you for posting this great video, I’ll be watching it again while I’m making it. God Bless all of you, stay healthy.

    I am going to give your recipe a try tomorrow. I just got done making a loaf of sandwich bread for my husband's sandwiches he takes to work and 2 pans of potato rolls earlier today. Your bread looks so nice Liz and I need a new recipe for every day bread. I've been making the plain white bread recipe from my 1964 Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook that I've had since I was a young person. Thank you for sharing your recipe and for showing people how to make bread. Your little one is delightful. I'm excited to see a young mother feeding her family so well and doing such a lovely job making their daily bread. Blessings on you and your family!

      Thanks for telling us you made this for a bake sale, I’m sure there were people wanting to buy bread in this state our world is in where we value the basics a lot, and when a basic really tastes great that is a plus, I bet the mothers of the cheerleaders were happy you participated in this money maker event, and also for what you gave the sale. If I was a mother of a cheerleader I would have bought a loaf before the event started🙀🤗

      Your water may have been to cold or to hot that you put your yeast in. If your yeast doesn't foam up it isn't gonna work.

    Just so you know. Plain white bread is ALL the same whether it comes to us via the Amish or Armenia. When I lived in England, they called it the proper English loaf. Same ingredients. Same methods. White bread is white bread. BTW, yours does look delish. Nothing is better than homemade bread.

      @@Fanta.... I grew up near an Amish community and bought home made bread and sugar cookies from them for over thirty years. I have lived and bought 'white' bread in many countries over the years and, believe me when I say, that it is INDEED, all the same. It very often comes in different shapes but the process and end result are the same. I do find that when people can't find anything contributive to say that they get their backs up and start calling names. it is the sign of a weak mind.

I’m going to try it for sure, I Finally found some ( my first bag of bread since this health thing came about) bread flour, it just so happens to be a 20 pound sack. I found it at Smart and Final (in California) its a store that sells to businesses and restaurants and such. They had a regular size bag priced the same $6.?? Can you believe that well I’m just happy I found bread flour finally, I did buy it, even though I am the only person in my family. I hope to use the whole thing in a years time. Now I need one of those white, food grade 5 gallon buckets and a lid for such. God Bless all your family.

    "Funny", that I got basically taught to do it the other way around = adding all the "wet" ingredients to the flour, not the other way around, but this looks delicious all in all, I have to try this though! Thanks!!

    Finally. Some one who knows how to make bread. I love that your dough was slightly sticky and didnt add too much flour. Thank you. Oh and girl you aren't even playing with that bad ass 7 qt mixer. 😊

    I’m currently making this recipe...yeast is proofing as we speak! Can I knead the dough traditionally before I let it rise or is it better to let my kitchenaide do it? Or does it matter? I’m a bit of a bread novice.:)

    This is my go to sandwich bread recipe. Family loves it. Somerimes I make using milk instead of water, but both ways are delicious. I don't buy sandwich bread anymore! Thanks!

    You know well how moist the dough is supposed to me and you did it nicely. Some add too much flour, but you have it just right. Nice job

    Hi, it's not hollow. It sounds hollow. When done. Let bread cool completely to avoid moisture loss. The crumb is the outside edges of the bread.

    • @fivespicelife
      @fivespicelife  4 года назад +2

      The crumb is also the inner texture. And yes, I do know to let it cool all the way.
