2010 BMW X5 XDrive30i - I was given a stack of services an inch and a half thick with many many things done by all types of service technicians. I will recall approximate estimates because i just went through it all again an hour ago. I just got the car 3 weeks ago with 188k for $2500. So all of this work i am about to list will have been done from 120k miles to 180k miles. Eccentric shaft sensors and gaskets, electric water pump replacement, all plugs and coil packs at about 165k. Vanos solenoids by dealership on recall. Some other PCV Valve and heater recall repairs BUT NOT A SINGLE transmission service or differential service. 1 report that rear dif fluid was dirty.... Ill be doing a FULL Transmission reseal and fluid change service using only the best ZF dot6 fluid (180 smackeroonies) and differential gear fluid change
Ill close it off with this. When you got your transmission service done if they did not replace the rubber mechatronic sleeves and seals inside then this might work to revitalize old rubber seals inside. AT-205 RESEAL use that instead of what i did for your issue i believe might help if you experience any type of bad service on your car
Was the transmission fluid ever changed on this car?
