- @thecastellows play a bunch of unreleased original songs on their 2024 tour, like this Free Way (or is it Freeway?). Those unreleased gems complement the 6 original songs on their debut EP A Little Goes A Long Way.
The ladies say that they just recorded Free Way. Yay ! Other unreleased gems on the tour have included Sheltered, God's Time, Cowgirl Blues, The Grass Is Always Bluer, and A Place To Leave. Some previously unreleased songs played on the tour are out now like Miss America and Ways To Go. It was great hearing the original acoustic version of Miss America, and then the version with the band, and then with Lily playing the harmonica part. In one Instagram post she says she's been playing for a couple weeks :)
Do yourself a favour and see the talented Balkcom sisters Powell, Ellie and Lily and the talented gents (aka @thecastfellows Justin, Blake, Brad and Mason) play live. They are touring with @littlebigtown and @sugarland in late 2024 and with @thomasrhettmusic mid 2025.
Enjoy !!!

Amazing as usual ladies. Can't wait for your new CD to be released whenever that is. Hopefully before you go on your European tour
God bless y'all

❤️❤️❤️
I haven’t seen anything more beautiful in a long time great work ladies
They are the best :) So much fun live too !
Nice song, nice singers, the only thing to want more is a quiet crowd. Much better for the music. Lol😅
The loud college lads behind me were unfortunate in the Blue Room - out for some wobbly pops and not the amazing band. Like for some other shows I'll try some track separation and remixing to lower the peanut gallery 🥜 🥜 🥜 chatter 😊
This is just what you get in a bar. The only way to eliminate this problem is for the band to perform in an environment like Nashville's 'The Listening Room" or "The Bluebird Cafe". Conversations or any loud talking during a performance is prohibited, strictly enforced and everyone there knows this rule. With this in place, EVERYONE is engaged with the band on stage, and they can be heard.
@@igoski1582 That would be great! Attentive listening fans :) This is a good example of that from the best small venue show I have ever seen : ruclips.net/video/T-umyjQr6_g/видео.html .. video is old from when we didn't have great cell phones and it's in the basement of the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto. Emily (from Metric) played her solo album and we were all mezerized / hypnotized by the performance. Not a peep from the crown until after the song ends. I wish I had a DeLorean with a flux capacitor to go back and record the whole show :)
