Oatmeal Cookies (New recipe to me; thought I'd bring you along)

I love to try different recipes; treats are always a hit in new recipes!!
These were good; not a soft cookie; a crispy one; but very good!

RECIPE:
OATMEAL COOKIE
1 1/2 Cups of Shortening
2 2/3 Cups of Brown sugar
4 Eggs
2 teaspoons of Vanilla extract
2 1/4 Cups All purpose flour
2 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
4 Cups Old fashioned oats
Bake; 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes
I cooked an extra 3 minutes; but I am assuming it was the larger scoop
