The 3GS was my first iPhone. I remember texting as soon as I left the Apple store and walking right into a pole, no lie. Then finding an app that let me text while using the camera to see.

SAVED VIDEOS The 5s IMO Is really garbage. I was using it one day and the screen just went black it it never turned on again. Now I have the iPhone X and I am so happy!!!

I just realised the iPhone 6’s and that 4S are running rare iOS versions-
they’re pre iOS 10... and pre iOS 7...
For a while, back in 2018, Apple were still signing iOS 6 (the may still be, I don't know), so I downgraded my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S to iOS 6 for retro kicks. I still love the skeuomorphic design!
Edit: Just looked - it looks like they stopped in 2019.

It then asks me “keep a copy of your data on this phone” (calendars, contacts, reminders, safari)...should I have those 4 things switched on or nah?

Depends. I keep everything synched via iCloud, so there's nothing on my iPhone that isn't in the cloud and on my other Apple devices. Whenever I sign out, whether to do a factory refresh and clean setup, or to lend or give a device to someone, I always erase everything. So yes, if you've got it all on iCloud, then erase away. Otherwise, if you're keeping the device, you may as well keep it for posterity.
