Looks like the kind of game mode that will be really hard on release because we will have barely any characters. And even less built characters. But after a few months if they don't crank up the difficulty it wil lget a lot easier.
Precisely yes! We will need time to build up our characters but after a few weeks we'll be good!
A "challenging" DPS check
This might be a dumb question. Does vigor recharge at all? Do you have to restart completely if you want to use the same team or character in a later part?
From what I understood during CBT2, it recharge when the abyss reset. We'll see how release next week for sure
Its less hard and just full of ultra tanky enemies that barely take any damage and has a timer-- its basically just a gear check. Did you pay 2 win and buy your way to 5 star weapons? do you have the meta dps team? then you'll be fine, and feel like it wasnt that difficult. Did you get unlucky and didnt get a 5 star weapon? did you waste your materials upgrading the wrong team? do you have a sub optimal team? then to bad you'll never beat certain stages, or you'll get stuck unable to do it in the time frame they want you to.
Honestly i hate timers... and this checks every annoying box you can imagine...
Annoying time limit? check
Super tanky enemies with absurd hp and defense? check
One Hit KO mechanics? double check
I dont hate the tower... but it isnt what i'd call end game content... its literally a P2W check... and it does that very well.
I wonder how much vigor the Tower Deep 2 cost

I haven't gotten a clear answer in another streamer's community, but is this another endgame mode?
Abyss are usually considered endgame content yes. Seeing how hard it gets already, I would be saying that yes this is absolutely endgame content and the Hazard zone will reset every two weeks.
