She was never made a Dame, so taking back something she was never given doesn't feel to me a very impactful punishment! She does have an OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) that could certainly be withdrawn. A Dame is two classes higher in the order. Running from MBE, OBE, CBE, DBE & GBE. I think you are getting confused with her appointment as a Life Peer as Baroness Mone, being a peer is totally different to being appointed to an order of chivalry such as the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Think about this, which ever party you gravitate to , there is no way to justify this, even if you allow for the total value of this being 200m, and the profit being 30% at 60m. This is several lottery wins for someone profiting of a national calamity. This is not at all defensible, it should have been done for a minimal profit level, how is it right that this amount of money is made in this manner, and also remember the government has no money of its own, its the UK tax payer that has suffered . This is a transfer of public money into private hands for private profit.

She walked passed everyone queuing straight passed me and tried to open the door. I said there’s a queue you need to join it to get in, she turned to me and said ‘do you not know who I am?’ I did but I wasn’t letting on so I said no and it didn’t matter there was a queue - it was in Glasgow so the queue weren’t quiet on this happening! - she then said ‘I’m Michelle Mone’ unfortunately at that the owner of the business saw her, let her in, apologised and told me off for not letting her in. I didn’t work there much longer, the queue of people were angry and I apologised but also advised them to go elsewhere and - ultimately - saw how self-entitled she was even then so this story and its outcome does not shock me.

We need to be mindful that high public office should be one of service, not ever a 'nice little earner'.
