The vehicle I rented for 3 days in ATL through Turo was $43.67 a day. Standard insurance was $17.47 a day. The Trip fee was $7.65 a day. Sales Tax was $11.93 total. All together, I was charged $218.28 for the entire rental. Owner was organized and fantastic. Right before that some hours before, I rented from a different owner who after waiting for the rental time to come up for hours finally messaged me that the car was in Las Vegas and would be unavailable for rental. I had to wait until he cancelled refunded me on his end. Once it was cleared, the app allowed me to select a different car.
I see host and guest with dad experiences on TURO. Owners with cars badly damaged by customers who mistreat them and TURO sending unjustified invoices to customers who have taken care of the cars. I consider that TURO is not doing a good job to guarantee everyone that they have a good experience. This makes me think that the commitment of these companies, owners and clients, is very little and that the benefits obtained from one and the other are very great.
@@msseaportcredit4899 That can be done in person, plus the renter has already been verified via Turo. I really don't care to jump through all those hoops.
I'm looking to rent a car, and I ended in Turo's website. First I thought this could be a scam website, thanks for showing me how it works.
Smooth and hassle-free!

@@vanrenzler Rochester in upstate New York..I don’t think I’ve seen anything like that around yet..I’d like to rent some crazy car!
@@alanpelton2598 definitely going to do that next! Wanted to test it out first was something relatively simple.
That’s cool you did this video on the renters side of Turo, I have videos on the host side of things. And yes things can and will go wrong🤣🤣

did you purchase insurance through Turo?
I did not. My current car insurance covers me for any car I am driving, this includes rental cars or something like Turo.
@@vanrenzler if my insurance doesnt cover turo, how much do you have to pay for turo insurance?
@@howardc3781 I dont know, but I am pretty sure it depends on the car. A sports car will cost more insurance than a sedan for example.
Do u have to have insurance for Turo
How long does it take to get approved? For turo
Thanks for posting. Have you used Turo since 2020?
No, I haven't but was planning to again pretty soon. Should I post an update?
Can I use my debit card or need credit card
you had to rent a huge jeep while your car is in the shop?
Wait I’m confused. So I assume the owner knew you were close, and possibly ran out and put the keys in the center console before you walked up?
yes
Sixt is the best rental company.
Why ?
Do you pay a Deposit
Higher end cars yes otherwise no
Selfie with the license, I don't think so.
Next!!
It's just a safety precaution we host use to make sure it's the renter, some ppl will rent a cas and have a different person pick up..

Its a common practice with alot of online financial transactions
Lol that’s not even a big deal
@@tha_oz If it's not that big of deal, then don't bother people about it. License is already verified via Turo
Nosey
Again another video of nothing mentioning any fees.
How much nobody tells the prices
It varies on the car and the owner
