Bleek a True Friend to the End! He really understands his position and never feels the need to over do it.
Jay said since you not making music im gonna put you on to this dusse biz so we can eat together!!!! I love that
Bleek is a real NY dude 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Hell yeah
+eric archer
I love it lol
Word. I bet that nigga sleep with his timbs on
Seen him a few time in Marcy cool dude
+eric archer Just say real dude. Theres 9 million people in NY. not all are real.
Jay-Z told us this in 96 "I see his hunger pains, I know his blood boils
He want to run with me, I know this kid will be loyal
." he was right
His accent is life! he's so Brooklyn
This is why I have always and will always be a Memphis Bleek fan, he is one of the realest! Loyalty is rare but one of the highest quality's someone can have, respect.
Same here I just like the guy
@NiaCheney True indeed Bleek has been a loyal brother to Jay for years, however there is a such thing as being loyal to a fault. If Jay does or has did something that is just despicable and Bleek know about would Bleek check Jay or expose Jay & can Beek's loyalty to Jay be detrimental to himself ? who knows.
@@user-xk2fc4lo5fjay is a human being he’s not the devil lol.
Shootout to the big homie Bleek. I met him at one of the Ruff Ryders/Roc a Fella tour stops & he stopped me from doing something REAL dumb back then as a teenager that I couldve been still paying for now. Forever respect. That & he nice on the mic for 20 yrs with or without Jay & he knows how to give a hell of an interview.
I met him too in person. He was always real like that from the start.
Loyalty is rare these days. I respect Bleek for being down for so long.
I LOVE their relationship. Bleek idolizes and truly has the upmost respect for Hov. and Jay has made it clear that Bleek never has to worry about anything whether he's dead or alive. he gave him Dusè and he's in that mans will. I always wondered if Kanye was ever jealous of Hov and Bleeks relationship.
Not to mention bleek was in the picture way longer then Ye
Why bleek sound like hes doing a shoutout for the whole interview. nah but fr his loyalty is on another level
Not really, staying loyal to Jay Z is easy lol.
Doubt he would be loyal to somebody else or say, Dame if the roles were reversed.
I love Bleek and he is loyal no doubt. But how fucking hard is it to be loyal to a childhood friend like jay?
FACTSS LOL
Great interview. He has a real energy that u can't deny
Every Memphis Bleek interview ever:
5% talk about his music career
5% talk about The Roc as a label
90% talk about Jay Z
+matubaM and? its part of his life fuckboy, im not gonna seat here listen to all the details of his music career
Jacques Agnant A.K.A Haitian Jack Maybe im'a find yo ass first and take the 15,000.... what do u think about that shit head?
+Nanaka GN don't get fucked up .Brooklyn baby real talk
+Jacques Agnant A.K.A Haitian Jack western union me the 15k and ill bring him to you
+stryfetc1 It's always gonna be that way. It's just like Yayo will never have an interview where they don't ask him a million questions about 50. It comes with the territory.
his loyalty to HOV, is unheard of...
Yeah not many grow up with somebody that easy to be loyal too though lol

No I think it’s pretty well heard of at this point lol.
True indeed. However Bleek need to stop thinking and feeling that he isn't equal to Jay just because Jay is a great m.c., a great lyricists, have several multi-platinum albums, a multi-millionaire & hugely successful.
Surprisingly good interview. Bleek cool af.
I agree
bleel always spoke truth, dont see why that's surprising
Bleek n AZ both dope rappers that rapped with Hove and Nas. Still history makers 🙌
I like Bleeks energy. No dull moment. He has such a pure soul. 🙏🏿
Ever since I heard "M-E-M-P-H-IS Bleek, no need to dress warm I brought plenty of heat" I've been liking Bleek. I always thought he had skills, absolutely loved Da Undastanding, always wished him to do well even when a'holes kept comparing him to Jay unfairly and looking for reasons not to even give him a chance. He was better than a whole bunch of rappers that actually made it!!

This interview just took me back for a hot second... Good shit my dude!!! #90sEra
What I like about Bleek is the fact that he a genuine dude who has nothing but love and loyalty in his heart. No bitterness, no past anger, no remorse, just living in the now and super honest about his successes and failures.
I don't care what nobody say, Bleek had some powerful records.
-plus it ain't nothing phony about son in this interview. salute!
Aint it refreshing to see such realness and loyalty?!? Not much of that goin on these days!!
+Leslee Greoskis because he don't got an ego...that's rare these days brother...salute to bleek for holding HOV down through the years B! Word.
Mind right, and, stay alive in new York City was fire! The whole understanding album was fire!

+GunStreets Nah he definitely looks older.

GunStreets Why is that gay? To say someone gained weight is homosexual? Dang people today aren't comfortable with their sexuality lol
+lifestraight you know some people mgith take it the wrong way, so i had to put a pause there
+lifestraight internet logic
bleek same to Jay as Yayo is to 50
Bleek is the most honest nigga outta ny
I swear I jumped up out of my seat when he talked about Mystikal's "The Man Right Chea"!!!!
The phrase "at the end of the day" has replaced the words "however, furthermore, nonetheless " in so many people's vocabulary. Which is Rick Ross's favorite phrase. 😁
+Alyssa A ross moved on from "ya undadig?" to this
El Chapo underdig? Oh lord..please explain what it means.
***** ask ross. nobody else knows. 2014 interviews was that shit all day
+Alyssa A i think he uses most definitly the most lol.
+Alyssa A LOL! I know right......but it's the same as saying "you understand?" Underdig or undadig is just the slang version.
Man Bleek is so brooklyn b, I love this shit. such a breath of fresh air type of interview.
bleek help bridge the gap between the south and north artist .. with "round here"
real shit. pioneer
Yup!
+Twnty Fourseven ehhh not really...jay z was on the juvie remix with "Ha"
+John cage that wasn't as big though
MrBillboyJAM back then it was.... what year were you born 2002?
This interview Was So Brooklyn 🏦

The Nas verse they talkin' about was from the title song off the Nastradamus album and the line was "You wanna ball til you fall? I can help you with that, You want beef I can let a slug melt in ya hat..." Bleek had a record where he said "Imma ball til I fall what you think of that?" and so he took offense thinkin' Nas was comin' at him and prematurely released a record where he took shots at Nas "Ya life was written, play ya position". Nas then responded on a track off of QB's Finest saying "Oh you didn't wanna know whose life was written, the life I'm livin', the ice the women...". I guess Jay-Z saw his lil man was about to get ethered before "Ether" and jumped in the beef with a shot at Nas at a concert.
Underrated.. bleek is dope
bleek wasn't the most lyrical but son was Hot and his Albums was slept on
Facts

His head gt a lil swallowing but this use to be my idol facts🔥
Yeah, I’m like yo his skin is bomb.
@@letrickbond6692 😂😂
Man I needed this interview and I feel like Hip Hop needed this. This is the definition of loyalty. This was from the Golden Years of Hip Hop. This is what Hop Hip was built on all in this interview. Salute to BC for this one.
I always felt Ja and Bleek shoulda did an album together. They had good chemistry.
I always thought that Beans and Bleek should've done an album together...
Well the closes to that would be the Dynasty album.
Well the closes to that would be the Dynasty album.
To an extent yeah...
Firm Fiasco ok this was 3 years ago so hopefully you know what you just typed is some bullshit lmao
He is honest and loyal...... the loyalty nowadays is dead!!!!!!!
I think Bleek got even younger n looks better then he did 20 yrs ago
He look way more mature...
He's a good dude. Used to hate on him, but it wasn't founded in something Real. Bleek's a good person, I see that now.

Now I can see why Memphis Bleek has been with Jay for so long (and vice versa). Dude's real, cool and has one of the greatest gifts one who could have: His friends happiness is his happiness. The total opposite from envy (the feeling, not the dj of course!)

DO MY LADIES RUN THIS MOTHAFUCKAAAA!
I wish they would've asked about a "Coming of Age part 3". I liked the sequel a lil better than the org and always used to think about how part 3 would go.
+JetVet718 the sequel was sick, that beat was so fire, i remember hearing it for the first time in 98 may have been thanksgiving
memphis bleek koming of age verse waz so dope...i herd he waz only like 16 at the time...i always gave him props for spitting such a dope verse at such a young age....broke my fukin heart into pieces when i found out a few years ago that Jay Z wrote it for him!!!
All rappers who came up in the 90s should get at least a 45 minute interview

Cortion Carter nah I never liked Jay z like that so therefore never fucked with anyone he did.
envy a cop on the low
Hell yea nigga.. his dad was a cop. Put 2 and 2
Real shit : music don't last no more . Much respect for saying that, he knows he won't go platinum so don't waste time .
I still remember continuously bumping Bleak in my 2 door Chevy Lumina with 4 15in speakers tearing up the neighborhood 😊
Bleek music dope, very slept on MC
Got that proper ny accent
the Nas shot at Bleek they're talking about is from the song Nastradamus:
"You wanna ball till you fall, I can help you with that
You want beef? I could let a slug melt in your hat"
It was a play off a Bleek hook that said:
"I'mma ball till I fall what you think of that?"
ENVY: What'cha been up to this past 10+ years, Memph?
MEMPHIS BLEEK: Nuthin... Chillin...
Straight up "Bruh Man from the 5th flo'" answer
People don't get that Ether was so epic it made Jay-Z step out of character. Never before or since has he ever came at somebody so personally. Nas won that battle.
+PARTY MARTY Yeah he did step out of character on that one. He had a vicious reply with the track "Blueprint 2"
+lifestraight yeah people forget about that.
Ron Davis Hmm...an argument can be made for that.
+Ron Davis opinions
you've clearly never heard of "Blueprint 2"....
Been waiting on this for a minute...havent seen it yet cause i have work... But i bet you envy will ask," so for the people out there who may not know you , tell them who you are and what you do " -_-
"You ever spend time in Memphis"? Finally 10 years later somebody ask about the name. LMAO
