I saw Iced Earth a few days before this show and it was a great show. It was the same set list as this show. It is very cool that Matt Barlow came out in the end to sing Watching Over Me with the band. I love the whole Matt Barlow era of Iced Earth but I love the Stu Block era alot so far also. Both are incredible singers.

I remember very well seeing Stu sing for a band Into Eternity opening for Stratovarius . Obviously I'm partial to Timo Kotipelto as a singer but wow all of I.E. were amazing Block displayed so much range control and more versitility than he is afforded to do in Iced Earth . That acknowledged after Barlow and Ripper went on their own individual paths many people said where did Jon find this guy but I wasn't surprised at all Stu was given the gig . There really isn't that much he can't do .
Because he proudly shows he's American???I'm not even American, and I can say fuck off! Anyone who is proud of its roots, regardless of it's color, has my respect.
you gotta learn to separate the artist (as a person) from his art also its almost like people can vote for whoever they want, regardless of what the media is telling you
All the solo "guitarists" that passed from IE have the same crappy tone.They are probably homeless people that John hires them for some meth and gives them his practice gear for touring.

Matt left the band two times. I love his singing and he will always be the classic singer for Iced Earth, but it is Stu Block's time to shine now.
