Was looking around for silent hill downpour reviews and I just gotta say that I'm glad I found your channel. Your commentary is entertaining & funny. The way you play the game is very close to how I go about things as well. Keep up the good work; you just got another subscriber!
Also, the "Otherworld" is a world with all your characters fears in tact. (Which is why Silent Hill 4 was so interesting, as it was the REAL WORLD. So the guy feared the real world) The otherworld in Downpour has execution seen in a lot of places, and a jail like structure. Maybe a fear of death/jail?
Which is why it's a police siren that brings on the "Otherworld". His ultimate judgment in reality comes from the Law and not God (which is why all the religious stuff from past Silent Hill games has been exempt), and Pyramid Head aka the reaper is replaced by a guy with a big hammer - symbolising the hammer of justice in court which condemned him. Perhaps...!

Wow. I am VERY impressed with this game. I know that people complain and say it isn't good or whatever, but I disagree. I think this is the best one they've made in a WHILE. Compared to Homecoming this is amazing.

holy hell, i got chills down my spine when the cage was moving and you saw the wheelman and all the prison inmates. that kind of shit is FREAKY. and the the bigass axe/hammer guy scared me because i thought you'd have to fight him. he reminds me of the huge hammer monster in the fourth resident evil movie.
