Very good editing! I remember watching people play this game when it came out and I became an instant fan, and I still am. Your edit brought back some memories of me getting platinum on this game last summer, thank you for making this!

Josh Brolin said he came up with the idea for the chase scene at the beginning after having a nightmare about someone chasing him through an abandoned building. Originally, the scene wasn't going to be in the final cut. After he told the director about the nightmare he had before they started shooting, it was written into the story.
I'm not sure what you are talking about. I don't think Josh Brolin has anything to do with "The Evil Within". 🤔
@@vanskorge9177 They used his likeness for Sebastian. It's common practice in the video game Industry these days because it cuts down on design time. Most main stream actors are doing games now because there's more money in it.

@@vanskorge9177 I was watching it on a behind the scenes presentation for film and video game class I was taking when I was in college. I've been looking for the video everywhere, but haven't been able to find it since.

Yes, definitely, but it's a shame that we can't expect any more sequels due to the closure of Tango Gameworks.
@@vanskorge9177 your right. This year could have been good or 2025 if the evil within 3 started to be developed. But because of Microsoft. There's no more the evil within. And i guess that's how the franchise ends. With only 2 games. "Where is Joseph?" "Where is ruvik?" There's a lot of questions not answered.
@@bacon1230 It’s disappointing that we might not get more from The Evil Within series. But there’s a tiny bit of hope - Tango Gameworks was recently acquired by Krafton. We don’t know yet what this might mean for the series, but there’s still a chance something could happen in the future. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!

I have been gaming since 2005 or 2006, when I was about 3-4 years old. Yet this game was my first proper horror game. I remember coming across this game and seeing the gameplay of the first chapter. I loved it but was too scared to play it myself. Well, I am glad that I eventually bought it, cause I just loved. Till date this is one of my most favorite horror games! It will always have a special place in my heart.

It's amazing how similar our experiences with gaming are. I got into gaming in the PS2 era. I've always loved horror and yet The Evil Within was my first proper/modern horror game. The first thing I saw of the game, was gameplay from the first chapter from a RUclipsr. At some point, I bought it and it also took a special place in my heart. Again, it's impressive how similar our experiences are.

@@magoo3283 Just like me!! I think the evil within 2 is incredibly great, even better than the first on an emotional level!
Yeah, I also think the second is better on progressive story-telling and emotional, but for me it doesn't have the replay value the first has, I still dig the atmosphere of the first one, and all the design styles and references to other games and movies, the second is kinda bland for me, it seems like the new resident evils remakes, look excactly like the evil within 2.
@@magoo3283 I have to agree with you completely, I've only played the evil within 2 a few times so far and the 1st very, very often, but i think the two parts add up to each other and create a fantastic franchise!! ^~^

The video is supposed be a music/tribute video. Since I wanted to edit the scenes to match the music, many of the clips are purely for aesthetic purposes.
However, I tried to show the beginning and end of the game appropriately in the video.
