Thank you soo much. The second option you mentioned worked. I logged into another browser, and I was able to access my drive folders, which I couldn't do when I had my Gmail accounts opened on the same browser. Thanks
So happy these tips helped! There are so many reasons why a Google Drive resources may not be able. It's all about trial and error until you find what is causing the problem for you.
It's hard to say without actually being able to see what is going on. Make sure you are logged into the correct Google account the shared drive is linked to and that the drive is still actually being shared with you.
Thanks _ I have one question regarding this issue, I have shared my presentation link from google drive to varsity portal ( anyone can see) but my professor can’t open the link because my link was not blue colour. He mail me asking to provide original link which will be blue colour after pasted in system. So now what should I do please suggest me
Hi there! I am not familiar with varsity portal. Some systems require you to insert as a link rather than just copy/paste for it to appear as an actual link. There is usually a specific button for inserting links in these cases. That could be the problem.
I’m not a teacher or using a teaching resource, but I’m having trouble trying to open certain google doc files which I definitely created and have not deleted, but keep getting the “sorry, the file you have requested does not exist”
@@brandonthompson9710 yeah like I tried searching for solutions but found nothing helpful. Like I tried opening through chrome, using a different device. Nothing worked.
Hi Jay! If you're getting a message that says the file does not exist, that means there is a problem with the link in your browser. It is saying it does not exist because Google does not have a link to match it. As I mention in this video, for some reason, some computers will change a link when you click on it. I provide suggestions for ensuring you have the right link in your browser if you are working from a PDF. If you are pulling a link from the Internet, right-click the hyperlink and select copy link. Then, paste directly into your browser. I hope this helps!
@@Vestals21stCenturyClassroom Thank you for responding. I would like to note I was not working from a PDF. I also went to Google Drive > MyDrive > clicked the upper right for Info > clicked Activity and scrolled down to find my files but cannot right click. However, if I just click it from my Windows computer, I still get the same error page.
@@Vestals21stCenturyClassroom So I logged out of all my accounts, I tried opening through chrome, I cleared my cookies and cache but so far I still haven’t been able to reopen my lost files.
SOLUTION FOR "Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist." !!! 👉👉 AFTER COPY PASTE THE LINK, YOU HAVE TO PRESS ENTER BUTTON THEN THE LINK WILL CREATE AND IT WILL NOT CHANGE IN THE BROWSER. DO TRY IT !!!
what does the word ..file 000 mean in google drive doc and it can not open when i try on it., is it a corrupt document that is automatically deleted by the virus ? ..thanks...
Sorry, I am unable to assist with troubleshooting if I am unable to see exactly what is happening on your screen. Try googling the error message you are receiving. Usually, you can find forms from others who have experienced the same problem and they will have suggestions.
