This is an amazing guide! Thank you so much! As a new player, due to the massive amount of content, the "dailies" (including things I should aim for during events and such), and party comp are two topics I'm still struggling with. I hope you would start a compendium sort of guide with more of these 20mins videos as a progression guide from a total newbie to a player who can participate in events and start max-ing out the event rewards

"Wish i knew those things from the start" is like the perfect ground to start guides. i played this games very casual on and off since 2 years and i dumped so many golden weapons into other weapons to level them up cause i thought this is the way to go. i easealy robbey myself of like 500 powerstones over the time.
This guide would've been so useful for me when I started playing I had no idea that you needed all character's gears/summon boards/enhancement boards I just used a BT character (no 15cp,35cp,Ex,LD) and struggled with events. Looking for some help. My Yuna is stuck at 80 in crystals and levels. I don’t have the burst weapon but I think I got the rest of it. What am I missing?
3 star characters can't reach lvl 90 ??? Cause i maxed all Warrior of Light's. Still can't unlock crystal lvl or lvl 90. Can someone explain to me pls...
Yes they can’t go level 90 until they get their awakening. Only characters with 4 stars can go 90 at the moment. Eventually they will all get it though

Hi kupo. Question: I maxed out tidus. All weapon all armor all sumon and force passiv. But i dont have the 'm' in training board's tidus details. I have 4M and not MM. I also got 10 points missing in total power. I got 1 sphere and 2 refined sphere. Do you know why?
To change the 4 to an M, you need to max out his force boards. You need his force weapon maxed then max out his boards with character enhancement points
Wish I had this a month ago when I started...but trial and error I finally figured out everything you put into this guide but it would have helped greatly and saved me from selling EX and LD accidently as didn't realize had to LB+Max Lvl to get passive had to keep drawing to get them wasting resources sigh lol. Red check mark unsure whether to sell though so I still hold onto weapon until I have points on the training board to ensure the passive unlocked from 'Auto', then I sell (sold Cloud Ex LB but wasn't maxed level - sigh lol). Also 'Artifact' leveling and '3' slots and distributing CP to try to maximize CP usage... but I notice either I was really lucky on my pulls as got lots of LD & BT at the beginning now I can't pull one for the life of me have to spend 500 points to purchase ouch... great incredible guide for new players must watch! Cheers! Beginner guide for following would be nice as I'm sure everyone hits that wall wondering about these: Stones, Artifacts, CP Distribution (where to put points) and the biggest one is how to clear Lufinia & Lufinia + missions (DP/AOE characters yes but healer/utility (Garnet/Locke etc.), another confusing thing is how some bosses suddenly get huge brave increase, how do you break/shave that off (which character), I also know that some characters prevent insta-death as some Lufinia bosses use 'Death' to kill you and no matter how many gems you spend (100 per revive) you won't win lol
For armor, you need to max them all out. First buy 4 copies of the 5 coin armor and max it out, then buy 4 copies of the 20 coin armor and max it out. Last buy the Lufenia armor and upgrade it. The armors will be locked for purchase until you max out the previous one
Hello! I have a request. Assuming a new player joined right now with snow, cid and noel banners. He would have no clue as to how to team build a balanced core roster in 3 months from the banners coming in these 3 months. I have seen such comprehensive team building videos but they are old, having old units or the banners wont be re_appearing in the next 3 months. So, in a sea of so many characters kindly make a video team buulding which covers most roles... probably a 10 member team in which even if a new player invests time and crystal, he wont regret afterwards. I narrowed it down to cid, noel, snow, loyd, locke, eiko, selphie, lenna, tidus, zack and ramza. Thankyou
My cor should be maxed out but it seems to be 5 points shy everything is maxed and it seems the artifacts are short changing me. Is there a way to get set abilities on those or is it rng?
Just as a little touch, it would have been helpful for other new players to show that you have to acutally equip the passives you get. also to you said at the end wou wanted to show all components that are needed to max out a character but left out gloom and artifact passives. i love your video still and its normal to not think about everything.
can someone please explain to me, why do different characters have different Max CP even though they've maxed the same things? as an example, Lightning, all weapons maxed to BT, all armors maxed (no lufenia yet) bloom and all boards also maxed gets to max 710Cp, but Bartz, exactly the same, only reaches max 685?
Some characters have more weapons than others. There are manakin weapons and world of illusions weapons that only some characters have. Also things like characters boards, Ultima weapons, and how maxed out their armors are make a difference. Two completely maxed characters with the same crystal level and number of weapons should be identical
I thought I would need this video, but it turns out I actually have a couple Maxed out Characters already! (If you do not include UT Weapons) What I would really like is ways to determine which Characters are maxed for Weapon Passives after they have been sold. Now that I got rid of most everything that wasn't being equipped for Power Stones, I have a hard time keeping track of which Characters I completed which weapons for, apart from the LD weapons whose abilities I can see present. If you have Passives for: 15, 35, EX, LD, EX+, BT, and BT+, how much CP should your Equipment Passives total? Is it even the same across all characters?
Question how do abilities work with 11 slots but I can only equip 6 or 7 because of calls, ld, ex, etc. I would just like to know how to equip 11/11 abilities.
You should be able to equip everything just fine. When you are battling you can scroll up and down to see new sets of abilities. In the character screen just click auto and everything will equip
When you enhance the weapon, make sure you are on the weapon tab. The dupes should show up with the word Limit Break flashing on them. Keep in mind this does not apply to BT weapons or EXs after you put a book on. These need Ingots to limit break
Okay so let me recap. For characters like Kadaj, i have his EX weapon, Soba, to level 40, so maxed out. I didnt saw if he has a burst or not rn, but either way i need to just max out every weapon he can have that have an affinity with them and passives automatically equip to him? and also even tho the LD is more rare, you play with the EX if the character is LD only? this is confusing lmao Also, what is blooming? I can't equip an ability because the game tells me to turn kadaj's bloom stone affinity ability set fixation slash growth into a passive, wtf does that mean? Please help ;(
Yes max all weapons, 15cp,35cp,ex, and LD. The ex is the one you want equipped and the LD and all others can be sold once you have maxed them out. On the character screen, click auto and it will equip all of the passives from the weapons. For blooms go the the exchange shop and you can get his bloom there, then you can max out the bloom using fragments in the same place you level up armor, weapons, and artifacts. The max bloom makes their AA ability better
Also, not sure if i missed it, but silver 4 star weapons / armour are really not worth the resources. They create so much problems with inventory management. just set the game to auto sell anything that isnt 5 star.
New player, I have 2 questions if anyone can help me out: 1- How do I earn dissidia points? 2- I won some kind of treasure chest from my panel missions, but I dont know how to open that chest? I see no inventory menu so Im not sure as to where it is located. Ill be very grateful if anyone can help me out.
@@nataliejones3808 yes you don’t need to keep the artifacts. I usually use my artifacts to level up other artifacts, but I suppose you could sell them too
With the event missions im trying to get all 3 gems 💎 what does it mean when it says use characters boosted x 3 ? I thought it means to use a support character or something I don't know but can you tell me what that means when it says that 🤔

Awesome! No there isn’t a team guide because teams are changing constantly. The general rule is 1 DPS, 1 Support, 1 choice(tank, support, utility, dps, etc).
I saw this immediately after pulling for dupes in start dash. Spent like 30000 I have almost all of them limit broken at least. I made the accout like 3 years ago but have probably got like 2 weeks of play time into it.Is it worth starting fresh?
It’s up to you. Your old account won’t have any LDs, so starting fresh would allow you to re farm the gems and pull new kits, so it wouldn’t be the worst idea
@@joewags I have Excalibur on Beatrix and I think two of her other weapons maxed. She is on 75 crystal level and level 80 I think. Other than that just a bunch of Cloud and Squall stuff.
I'm a returning player and one thing that still confuses me is what allows a character to go to 90 instead of being locked at 80 so far only 3 of my characters are able to get past that cap. Like is there a mission or something or is it just random
It’s not random. Characters slowly get that upgrade as new events drop. If you look at the character icons, the characters with 4 stars in the upper right can go to 90
What would have made this AMAZING is instead pick on character that goes all the way past burst and have all the items and literally fully build them as its recording so u can literally see ever step since its easy to leave out simple things
I totally would do that but I have every character built up to at least level 80. The next time a new burst character comes out I might record it though

The game is actually very generous with resources and it has a good pity system. It’s actually not too bad

Yes you want to auto sell, but I recommend getting all the 4 star passives first. They are small, but don’t cost much CP and add a little bit of stats

Dissidia points come from mission rewards, daily login bonus, and the co op shop. Panel mission rewards are claimed immediately when completed

The best way is to target banners with the best characters and to have enough gems to pity (75k for LD and 125k for BT).
