Childhood is thinking Batman is cool because he doesn't care.
Adolescence is thinking the Joker is cool and that he's right that the world really is that cruel and absurd.
Adulthood is realizing that Joker is inherently wrong and that Batman is cool because he cares deeply and won't ever give up despite what the world might throw at him.

Batman has a point. How many serial killers in our reality had a tragic and traumatic life like the Joker, but in the end they were born that way and chose the fate they found. Same goes for him. The chemical accident, humiliation and failure in comedy, in addition to the death of his family, were just a push for him to go insanity.

Actually, the majority of killers and criminal offenders had some form of trauma that was more than likely the catalyst for their descent into depravity. Don't kid yourself. No one is born this way. What batman said just isn't true, ALOT of people suffer and break from trauma, even minute trauma. It's just that most of them cope via distractions and self abuse rather than turning to crime.

Huh. That's an interesting way to look at things. When it comes to the creation of heroes and villains I believe they are created by the things that happen in they're lives that greatly influence their choices.

Batman wasn’t the same because the Joker virus was affecting his mind. Batman told Selina after the events of AC Batman was dealing with Joker’s loose ends that he left behind. I don’t believe Batman missed Joker but rather wished he was helped or that his death didn’t involve Batman at all

Batman and Joker the two sides to the same coin known as insanity.
One adopts a mask, and made it their being, their purpose.
The other makes it their life. Insanity is their Enlightenment and they make others join them.
Neither is good. Both are escape mechanisms to hide from the fact they can't function properly anymore, emotionally and physically.
What are you talking about? He absolutely was the same. He was mourning Talia. He carried the Joker out because for reasons that don’t even come remotely close to liking him. Batman can absolutely go on without the Joker. If he can go back in time without consequences to prevent the Joker’s creation, he would most likely do it without hesitation.

I was at SDCC during the premiere & as always it was great to see Tara Strong & Kevin Conroy plus the movie. Despite the Batgirl story, Tara Strong put her heart & soul into her performance & she didnt deserve the hate she got nor this masterpiece. I likw how they got the animation to resemble the book & that was justice to Alan Moore

All it take is one bad day (in this fight) is the best ost in the movie
Joker hasn't had a bad day, he just thinks he has. When Batman rejected his vision, when Batman turned his perceived wisdom on its head and pointed out that he was probably wrong this whole time, that was a worse day than what happened to him at Ace Chemicals.
Ace was a merely physical injury. batman set off an explosive inside Joker's soul.

The Killing Joke story in the movie, I thought was really well done and really good! Very comic acuarte. But the Batgirl story before, not a big fan of what they did with that

I like the concept of this version of the joker but honestly its execution is self contradictory
Joker’s point is that everything is all a joke, nothing matters, everyone is the butt of the joke and sanity is living in that unable to see it for one. But then he becomes so embroiled in trying the prove this that he shows he evidently don’t just regard everything as a joke, that he doesn’t actually want to just laugh at the punchline which is always funnier when the fool takes it seriously, and what’s more makes him seem insecure and needing to vindicate himself by some standard.
The more classic joker what just does everything for amusement with no principles beyond novelty, what laughs as he’s beaten up and what is so utterly amoral and psychopathic that the opinions of others mean less than nothing to him- which was always the source of his flamboyance, his jokes are for him and he don’t care if you don’t get them. It’s a lot more poignant and actually aligning with what Moore was trying to do when he wrote the original comic
