No matter what they add to this game, ppl are gonna hate but im glad that i played the hell out of it n that new Draugr looks awesome just like the other semi futuristic vehicles in this game
Yes it was half assed and not the best BF but it's a solid addition to the series, what other game allows u to blow sh!t up with tanks, jets, helis, 128 player chaos, plus system, no sbmm, no Niki minaj/bunnies skins etc
@MrAckers75 I didn't pre-order, BF and other games are usually buggy when released, if u pre-ordered then that's your fault cuz BF games are usually buggy since BF3/4
They kept saying the Draugr was going to be an unmanned aerial vehicle/drone(UAV), I guess basically the RQ-170 Sentinel(Wraith), yet it flies like a jet and pilot dies when the vehicle does....lol.
must be those futuristic neural links -- Sword Art Online crossed with BF2042. Good point though that is a bit dumb :D Completely agree I think I said it above before I saw your comment, it's just a reskinned Jet with anti-personnel bomb and a cool effect to go camo which actually doesn't do a lot. I would have liked it had it been primarily for recon / targeting with one bomb on board which was exceptionally high impact and single shot to be used at the player's discretion, and once used the Draugr exited the map, player appears at spawn. It could sit at the height ceiling so Jets would have to prowl around to try and find it / spot the camo haze and take it out. Then again I'm probably wrong, usually am :)
@@timelessgamer_UK More air power....while in the meantime the Wildcat still doesn't have APS....lol. Devs sure love their sweaty pilots, they must have some really well worn kneepads...!
Thanks Ghost that was a really informative stream (no irony or sarcasm!). Looks to me like the Draugr is a reskinned jet with anti-personnel bombs & from what we saw here, slightly questionable anti-vehicle options (bit low on damage, weren't they?). The cloak visually is quite cool but in terms of utility i.e. having to pop before the missile is fired, not great? In any case it's not what I was hoping for -- something fresh -- and a real missed opportunity. It'll fly, fight and die exactly the same as the jets do today. Just my take.
They need to buff the main jets 30 mm cannons with at least splash damage cuz right now the new jet got 20 mm cannon which actually deal damage to all target plus it has splash damage on top of that.
Looks to me like one of the better ways to use it would be the bf4 strat of pelting them at range with the 20s, then drop the incendiary at the end of the strafe, since the range on those 20s seems rather ling
The JDAM one shots a full health Wildcat, I got killed by 3 of them today. Found myself playing Crawford rather than Lis, as I got a couple Draugr kills with the Stinger though, not much other defense really, as it sneaks up on you and before you know it, your dead.
Don’t know if you’ll ever do an overview video, but I’d be keen to see what the cloak looks like from the perspective of someone on the ground, so I can get a feel for how effective it is
Anyone else remember the days of BF3 where you’d have a map with one ground attack aircraft per team, so at the beginning of the round you and the other pilot would tilt wings in silent agreement that you wouldn’t attack each other so you could both just farm kills 😅
I honestly wish they would have fixed HOTAS support, but seeing as 2042 is EOL now as they move onto the newest one. Probably wont happen. I do hope however, the newest BF they give us proper PC HOTAS Support like BF1, BFV, BF4 BF3 and every other BF PC Title has properly supported. Why suddenly 2042 lacked this support, was beyond me
It's better at air to air, then air to ground, especially with just stock mods, honestly it ain't that good man. I was so excited and all it is, is a bigger fighter jet with bombs
They just keep nerfing the jets. At the beginning of Battlefield 2042 as pilot I was always on the top and kills almost every single game, now I barely kill anything, and if I do I'm risking dying easily, not mentioning crushing like five times in each game for stupid accidents
@@amatresservan8206The only thing they nerfed were rocket pods. They also changed the feeling of flying them, but they are basically the same. They just added a lot of annoying anti-aircraft weapons like Lis missile or railgun tank.
