I haven't got on yet today and I bet M16a3 still doesn't have the Reflex sight back that I've been asking for, for months now.
No one pays attention to the vault weapons at all.
The M16 and M416 are my favorite Vault ARs. I have to mess around with the A91 and ACRW
The devs don't pay attention to them only AOW weapons
I'm just sick of using Kobra sight for a 1x and I'm not bad with Kobra It's just getting boring to use I want Reflex sight.
M16 has Holo x2 from BF3, which is my favourite sight ever, so I don't even care about Reflex.
M16 is already OP af. If you want reflex, use M416, it's basically the same gun
Attack choppers are broken, the nerf is needed. Ive been abusing them not by cheating but might as well be with how strong they are. The biggest problem is when those try hard vehicle mains join a server and just dominate completely. As a solo player theres not much you can do against 2 jets, a wildcat an atytack chopper with a gunner andd another attack chopper. They coordinate attacks and since majority of people play alone or are pretty bad when you get a group of people good in vehicles all coordinating attacxks even if youre an amazing player your team gets slaughtered.
Agreed, I got this on breakaway a few times, you couldnt even get out farther than the first two points without being f***ed

You probably don't know Ghost because you haven't used these missiles in a jet or heli, but they are completely broken since the premiere. I don't want to promote myself, but I have a special compilation on my channel showing how these misslies don't work, so if anyone wants, you can check it out.
You get 3 AT mines. I always drop all 3 in a close triangle formation so I guarantee a vehicle kill. I never drop 1 or 2 alone, so I am cool with the "change"
Is there a way to spot the direction of the lock ons coming ? Like in bf4? I haven't figured out how to notice the directions of the lock ons in 2042, am I missing something?
The attack helicopter didn't need a nerf to be honest. I think it's the scout helicopter (Nightbird) that needs the nerf not the attack helicopter.
I'm pretty decent in an Attack helicopter and I've never got that close to that many kills while piloting the attack helicopter. It's the gunner seat that gets most of the kills in the attack helicopter not the pilot.
My friends can get a lot of kills if I'm piloting them around and most of them are average players. It's based on pilot skills and the combination of communication.

See the anti tank mine I feel was nerfed way too much. 3 now to take out heavy vehicles. It already takes dam near 4 rockets to take them out. It's an anti tank mine should technically take 1-2 it's what they are made for. Even if they only have u two mines.
Ya that's what we need, mines scattered all over the map that 1 hit kill a tank or other assault vehicle. Might as well make it 1 C5 or 1 or 2 rockets at that point. Do you want things any easier? Come on man!
Are you kidding me easier it takes 3-4 rockets for tanks that sit back in their spawn with Irish anti projectile put up making it impossible to kill them unless can get to them with c-5. Heli unlimited flare soon as you lock they run away after dump their flares till it. Comes back by then you're probably out of rockets. Vehicle are all op cause at least 128 there so many on the map at once. There really not many ppl that use anti tank mines as it is. Every uses McKay grapples and drops there c-5 which is impossible to defend you have to hope a teammate kills him first.

Yeah they're so hard to hit, with all the explosive spam and Casper drones, plus 3rd person view makes them easy to see.
Do we have a concrete statement that "ajust visual recoil" is "less visual recoil" from DICE?
Let's hope they took the brawler into consideration with the at mine nerf. Before the prior nerfs, it took 3 mines to destroy a brawler (40 damage per mine), now it seems the brawler might be even more powerful.
I love how they call the S-70 Ohotnik which is a UCAV a "Stealth Bomber" LOL
yet it plays a role more akin to a Strike Fighter, considering it has guns and missiles and can target ATA which Bombers typically do not do.
instead of punishing camping in the uncap they just keep stripping functions off of devices.

The AT mine nerf makes me sad. I think two to destroy a tank is quite reasonable, leaving the one extra available for smaller vehicles or other creative uses
They’re doing with the grappling hook what they should have done literally years ago.
The poxy grappling hook should never have been in the game to start with.

Not sure I understand the Vehicle Repair nerf tbh. I mean the repair gets canceled as soon as you take any dmg and with the amount of AT's in the game I undestand it even less.

I don't see why people are so upset about Liz. Maybe the vehicle players but as a tanker, I get killed by c5 more than anything else. I still kill a great number of people and other vehicles most of the time. People will always bitch about something. I find the balance in bf2042 to be better than most other games.
@@hillbilly6613 you… what. Lis is an anti vehicle specialist. So obviously the vehicle mains are going to be mad about her being op against all vehicles (and I mean all, even tanks). She isn’t supposed to use her rocket for infantry, and if you do you deserve to locked in a mental asylum for breaking the laws of the Geneva Convention. It’s not just one person, when your in a lobby of 128 people there are a lot of people playing lis and therefore a lot of TV missiles. It’s completely unbearable and unbalanced and she needs a damage reduction on heavy armoured vehicles

DICE implements its final game patch and wrecks more of the game permanently. Why am I not surprised?

I'm responsible for the Frogfoot fix, I brought it to thr DICE Dev's attention during a Friday Night Battlefield session a little while back. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 It has been a problem for a long time.
I live in Seattle and I haven’t been able to play a game for like 30mins or more…I guess servers are down
I have all but stopped playing BF2042 and it was not even intentional! Just have fun playing other shooters, just a natural switch. V & I are still amazing!
Would have loved a buff to the SRAW. That thing is downright anemic particularly when you consider how exposed you need to be to use it.

McKay's nerf makes no sense. He's effective with getting around the grenade spam by flanking and also effective with vehicle take downs using C5. Why don't they just nerf Zain more. I hate his stupid gun
They need to nerf dozers shield. I don't mind people using it or it being virtually impenetrable, but a 1 hit melee kill is wack. Especially when it take 2 hits from the rpg7 to penetrate. Since when does a light shove deal more damage than a rocket propelled grenade?

@Motogobro and the range of the melee is insane. Sometimes it seems like I get hit by a dozer shield from 10 feet away.

Attack heli's can one strafe an mbt, if you wait for the tow to almost hit before opening fire the dps is very high before the tank player gets any feedback for damage taken. It was needed.
The Irish nerf is huge. Think about it

Once I play with the new lmg and bomber plane for an hour or two. 2042 is getting deleted for good 😂. Dice and EA are lucky that there is NO competition in the fps space and how stale the fps space is

Attack jet?!?! That's all we need to solve the steamrolling... i promise.
They need to reverse the default settings on crossplay. Loading the game with cross play enabled places too much hope that enough players will dissengage it before entering the game, They never do, the result is when you turn cross play off (even with a brand new update where you'd expect player population to be at it's mose), with crossplay off. you will never find a server with enough players in it to start a game.
Turning crossplay off will rapidly increase the number of populated console only servers enabled at launch, PC crossplay should be added as an option, we need types of play, native console only, crossgen console only & all out crossplay to include PC players for those with friend son PC who wish to join them.
PC servers have now been hacked and cheats are available for this market, why place the security of the game on consoles at risk? Many play on consoles in order to avoid rampant cheating on the PC and now that option isn't there. Even without a hack programme injected PC players continue to enjoy a clear advantage over those on consoles in ,uch the same way as having some advantage in the game so crossplay seriously needs a second look.
It's never been mentioned or questioned since the release of this game so you have to wonder why, Since it's something that the vast majority of console players don't want if this fails to get addressed then the nexts games sales will be severly affected.
The apache was perfect tow missiles take skill to use but we'll let every man and theyre dog lock on 🤦
Tow against air yes it needs but not against the ground. Nerf only take place against ground vehicles
Not a fan of the mine nerf at all. Seems like at least as far back as BF4 two mines was enough. It was nice laying 2 and having a spare for chance opportunity.

Ah OK so just go back to using the M5 then instead of the AM40. Got it. Just take away the one thing that made it unique compared to the other high ROF ARs. It already has a shorter 6BTK range than the M5 to compensate for the short 10m 4BTK range. Standard issue is just exclusively worse than the M5 now rather than having a close range TTK advantage but a ranged TTK disadvantage.
There are about 10 cheaters in portal hardcore JTF2, CONQ, SWAT servers and other hardcore servers. We report them everyday but EA wont ban them. Can u help pls‼️‼️‼️‼️

Mackay was stupid and this is a decent nerf but this games dead anyway. Hopefully in the next battlefield game the soldiers wont have all these stupid over the top gadgets and goes back into a more grounded design. Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 1 are great examples for a battlefield that I thought was nearly perfect for infantry balance. The wild and wacky specialist gadgets ruined the flow of the gameplay.
Nerfing the am40 and lcmg 🤦♂️ how about nerf the smg’s range, they are brutally op where they shouldn’t.
I like the pace of 2042. It's just fast enough to not bore you, but not so fast it's Call of Duty Sweaty. Ruining the Specialists is not gonna fix the game. Boris, Angel, and Casper are already useless. Now they are adding Mackay to that list.

With all these latest updates, we can almost predict that the next battlefield will be much more in line in terms of pacing of battlefield three and four this is a testing ground. Something tells me that this will not be the last update. there might be no more seasons, but if I were in their shoes, I would surprise us with another map no battle pass. but buyable cosmetics
I want Zain to get cool cosmetics like what Dozer has.
I wouldn't expect a map, but new layouts, vault weapons/vehicles, new attachments are probably possible

They nerf all repair times besides the RAM/Bolte? lmao. fucking ram is the most OP vehicle in the game. Also the APS-36 Shootdown Sentinel should be removed from the game. certain maps are easy to trap people as long as you have 10 of these things up. They sleeping over at battlefield 2042. I love how SMGS like the K30 didn't receive a nerf yet I can out gun anyone with it lmao.

In my opinion Falk is the best specialist I use her med pen on myself and others and I'm at tier 18 right now (yes I know that's low) not only can I give ammo but I'm the go-to medic for those who have complained on Reddit that they needed medics.
So they are adding what is probably going to be a hideously broken stealth bomber, a new LMG and gating both behind some stupid game mode that isn't conquest. Sigh.
As a relatively new attack chopper pilot, the nerf to the weapons are a little too extreme, 15 or even 12% I feel would’ve been better. They mentioned the gunner and pilot duo being too strong which I agree with, and I feel that the gunner weapon should deal less damage to armor and be geared more towards infantry

Zain is the best assault, hands down. If one dont think so, you're just bad imo :D His passive kill-heal together with the airburst is way more deadly than MacKay.

Nerfing rocket by 20% (3 rocket direct hit on inf for kill will become 4, with 10 rocket magazine) is horrifing, i play every match on heli, and ive a good gunner literally 1 on 30-40 matches, the most of the time im alone on heli noone join attack heli because is so weak, gunner cant shot properly cause the driver need to evade 22728 Lis tv missile 2 enemy stinger are enough for clean sky for every heli.. need to evade jet ram, jet lock, aa lock, ebemy heli lock, stinger lock(no passive radar protection so dumb on that) and Dice think to add more time to kill on attack heli.. good to improve the agility overall but the nerf is retarded. Need 14 hydra rocket and kill 1 tank in 10 direct hit, faster reload time for rocket, and passive radar on stinger on 80m altitude. Better splash damage for gunner and more time before overheat... thats is balanced. 2 stinger and 1 aa on 32 players are enough for clean sky.. wothout jet heli ram and more...pathetic dice want make battlefield like cod

@@benferon6214i play inf only basically but as ex bf3 99 stars heli and same in bf4 i like play heli in cq.. the problem is the same that tank has.. too many threats, if u remove list tv missile, ram 60aa same for jeep and mav, u make recoiless little bit skill based to use, delete thor camping in spawn , add passive radar also on stinger and increase overeat time at least 2 seconds im ok with the nerf and with a longer time to kill heavy armor and aa. But 3 direct rocket hit for kill 1 soldier with 10 rockets mag is no sense.

I think dice has forget the meaning of assault class or support. the class system is there for a reason . the mackay is an assault and they nerfed him and yet the lis or dozer remains untouched. you shoot a dozer and he just gets his shield front of you with no cool down or any thing and yet they're nerfed mackay😂. poor guy

Too little too late. btw McKay and Sundance are just too absurd as specialist "gadgets". (even Battlebit does the grappling hook 10x much better) These two should have never even been added. Close second are Liz and that automated turret. This is why this game fails so much with all this super hero b.s. in a BF game.
