A: Most of my videos are recorded in Southeastern Pennsylvania
Q: Can you show the scene?
A: No I will not, out of respect for the involved parties, however on some occasions the scene will be in the video for a little as we go near it or if I decide to show it, the main time I will show the scene it would probably be at a structure fire.
Q: Why are you doing [insert thing] this way?
A: We have a certain way of doing things and it's all for a reason. Look in previous videos for the reason before you start complaining.

A: My Dad is the one driving and I just record.

Damn! Most of these civilians drivers are deaf and blind!! Can they not see or hear the emergency vehicle coming up with lights and sirens going off?! Move the hell outta the way jesus!
Oh, Im a Jr. Firefighter in the county this is being recorded in, and people will NEVER get out of the way. Q Peaking, Air horn being laid on, no one moves.
I scared a guy once. We were sitting in traffic and we got a call. The air horn was the first thing I reached for. That poor toyota driver jumped 10 feet in the air.
Keep in mind that with all the improvements of sound proofing our cars we unintentionally make it harder to hear sirens. Also, once you hit freeway speeds you are overdriving the siren. Nobody will hear it until they are being passed. When I would get rural calls outside of the city I would turn the siren off once I left the city. All it was doing at that point, with me going 90-95 mph on the interstate, was annoying me and partner for the next 30 minutes.
U should park backwards in your garage
We've tried it a few times but when we back in we can't walk behind the truck due to the size of the garage.

I have a quick question: Are you limited to a certain speed? You were barely driving faster than the other vehicles on the Highway, i mean it was not necessary to drive much faster since units were already on scene but still. Thanks in Advance for the Answer :)

Keep in mind, that area of highway is 55. He was going 65-70. Most people go 65-75.

Volunteer fire police. Basically we manage traffic at accidents close roads keep people from freaking out and causing more accidents in the process.
So you guys roll code to do traffic control ?
Traffic control is very important on a scene , having vehicles fly towards the scene at 70 mph is not what you want at all when your on scene .
And with any rollover there is always chance for a fire to start. And with this being a Semi Truck and Trailer the contents of the trailer and fire may or may not mix well.

Sam Cooperman to be honest: yes a highway scene shoulld be secured very well, but to do so, there should be used more than just some relatively small cars with emergency lights and maybe amber warning lights. Over here we have many highways with no actual speed limit and the average traffic might flow at 100+ mph. In order to secure highway emergency scenes the fire departments use traffic safety trailers, a 4 decades old "technology". The trailers have a fold-up part and include arrow traffic sign, 24 amber halogen lights forming an arrow to either the one or other side or an "X", 2 more warning lights and the entire rear part of the trailer is covered with red-white reflective stripes. Often there's more than one of those on scene, and in case it really is one of those parts with no speed limit, the Highway Maintenance Authority will be on scene with up to 3 additional pre-warning trailers.
IMO placing just one or two cars with some warninglights is not sufficient. To be honest I also think that our warning trailers are not sufficient. The trailers have a great visual warning effect, but in case someone still crashes into it, the trailer is wrecked. The best option would be a solution which is used in Sweden: Traffic Safety Trucks which have both a great visual effect and also can compensate a car crashing into the rear
In this county (I live in and I am a Jr. Firefighter) Fire Police is pretty much the main part of the operation. The other day there was an accident and even a State Trooper tried driving through the scene (And did), that trooper went right through the Fire Police block at the Intersection.

The state has been working on phasing it out up here anyway. It was great with a $3,000 system on the top of our rigs back in the nineties, where we barely had to wait ten seconds (eternity) for the lights to cycle where we had opticom sensors, but flicking the brights as quickly as possible did - and sometimes still does - give cheaper and equally-positive - results at certain intersections.
