Please tag me if you want to make a review of the zip tie action figure. We'd love to see your photos, 3d printer time lapse videos, stop motion animation, custom figure art or anything that you might want to do with it.
I love toys and I love making them. It makes the kid inside me very happy!
Welcome back! Just be careful with Disney and Marvel copyrights.
Ang galing napaka creative
Astig noh
Astig! 😉👏👍
Can you also show us how you model the figures. This is simply amazing.
Oh how I wish I could do that. But designing an action figure is a very tedious and boring cycle of trial and error. Also the time I spend shooting and editing means, less time for me making toys. But I will probably try making that video in the future.
👏👍
I'd love to see a Galactic Zip Guy it would look great as a 190% scale, or a Hulk
Now you gotta do wolverine
Man do I wish this was around when I was 10. Even better I find it at 22 💪
coooool
Great work ❣️
you should make a naruto one
would you make a female action figure on the future?
Nice figure
a note..if you dont tighten the ties that are inside holding the shoulder sockets in place...it will be easier to install the sockets..then i just tighten the zips and boom...easy...ive struggled with the sockets before when id tighten down those two zips...a pain in the butt...so i played around a bit and left them loose..hope that makes sense..
Thank you for sharing that. I guess the climate plays a big part. It is very warm where I live and zip ties and other plastics tend to get looser very quickly, so I over tighten everything. I hope you can share that trick on the 3Dzipguy facebook page as well.
Your designs are incredible, maybe at some point I can buy some, I would like to know, if you could build the Power Rangers? It is a dream to have these figures at a low cost, since the original ones are impossible to buy here in my country, I hope, you get to make these figures! Greetings and congratulations for your works!
Amazing!!!

Yo Shawn! :D
as soon i get a 3d printer id like to make these cool figures for myself would i have to go to some site to purchase and print the model?
What was the scale for the smaller action figure?
100% scale. you gotta make sure you have the correct zipties though. They require the smallest size. Thanks for the question.
Por favor manda um pra mim!!
Amazing! Did you model this in ZBrush or Blender? What 3D Printer did you use to print all the parts?
Thanks! Glad you like it. I modeled it in 3ds max and Blender, printed on the TEVO FLASH
Can you make one of jeanne d'arc alter from fate grand order? Or one Deadpool? Pls!
where can you find those zip ties from model one basic zip guy are those 3mm head
I get them from our local hardware and office supplies stores, here in Manila. Aliexpress sells them in various colors too. And yes, 3mm and 4mm heads were used.
Can this upgrade and the zip tie guy 1.0 be printed on a resin printer like the elegoo mars?
Zipguy is primarily designed for FDM printing. I have seen people print it on resin, but make sure the resin is the really tough kind, because the regular ones are too brittle for the ziptie method.
Do you have any suggestions for resin type.
@@landonstewart2302 I am probably the least qualified person to answer that, as I have zero experience with resin. On the other hand, about 5 years ago, I bought a couple of liters of resin from a company Fun-to-do. And then claim to have a resin that has a high tensile strength. I never used the resin I bought though.
Is compatible 200% size with marvel titan series figures?
200% would probably be too tall. Right now it is around 12.75 inches tall. I will try to figure it out.
@@3DZipGuy Well, maybe 188% to fit 12 inches tall, thank you
@@ClaudioMontes I hope you could share photos of your prints. Feel free to post it on the 3d zipguy facebook page and group
