In the freezer room where you light the lantern and smash the statue, if you climb up in the back of the room, you’ll see a gnome that froze to death and a rat sniffing him. It took me an hour before I realized I couldn’t save the lil dude. :(
For the Kitchen Hand achievement I broke every bottle of wine on purpose because it took me 20 tries. I kept throwing the fish head JUST short of the large pot. A couple times it bounced off and the chef would kick it while chasing me into really out of the way spots. Luckily when he kicked the cheese (in my last attempt) he kicked it right in front of the hiding spot next to the oven and I had no problem grabbing it and tossing it into the pot... and immediately getting grabbed. To heck with you chef, I got my achievement!
This walkthrough was amazing thanks. It helped me get the collectibles. As for a no death speed run, no thanks! A lot of the deaths I had over two playthroughs were due to the 2.5d camera angles and depth of field perspective.
I play on PS4 so idk Idk if this is on XBox too, but at the end of chapter 3, if you sit under the table long enough instead of continuing to run, both chefs will start grabbing at you. There’s a little spot in the middle where they can’t reach you and if you stay there long enough then you get an achievement called Elusive
@@rupert274 In my opinion they aren't, they're really simple, like just WASD to move, ctrl to crouch, shift for sprint, space for jump and left mouse button to hold/push, those are pretty much all the controls you need
I've used a number of your guides and really appreciate the way you do them. I have no idea how you pulled off that jump at 18:58 on one try because I've been trying for 30 minutes and can't stick it! lol
This is by far one of the best walk-throughs. Found a gnome I didn't know about, and the achievement for making the soup in the kitchen, as well as the shortcut of climbing the plates to reach the hook. I always climbed the shelving on the far left. I really wish you had a walkthrough for the DLC now.

GREAT TIP FOR THE BANQUET DASH at 1:04:32 the stool which you climb upon to reach the table can be PUSHED. Push it to the left as far as you can. It will keep sliding until it hits a ridge in the floorboards. You can then climb on, and jump to the table, just as you would have done. only THIS TIME, you only have to get across HALF the table length

The year 2022, it's a early Saturday morning. I was bored with the games I had, and didn't want to buy another one. I look through my library and see Little Nightmares collecting dust.... Then I remembered Maka made a walkthrough. So finally I will play this game I bought many years ago.

Great walkthrough and great voice articulation. However, I could not finish the game because of not being able to pull the two bars out and crush his hands at the 36 minute point of chapter 2. I am an ER surgeon and have to have a lot of patience, but this area really tested me for 3 hours and I finally gave up. Games are what I do to relax as I wait for gun shot wounds, drugs, and car accidents in The Bronx. Looking forward to more of your walkthroughs as they have really helped me "relax."
5 minutes in lantern missed in the corner. 21 minutes in lantern missed after you duck under the pipe. 34 minutes in candle missed after the piano jump. Around 44 minutes lantern missed on top of the shelf. The gnome in the jar can be taken back up the elevator to avoid detection from the chef. Around 55 minutes lantern missed go out of the first open drain and go to the left climb the pots and pans up the shelf and ride a hook around to the left. Hold down the d pad to scroll the credits faster.
There are some of the lights that you've missed along the way like one on the table at 1:04:36, a little risky to light as you're gonna be half-way sprinting across the table, another one at the top right screen at 1:07:52. But there are a few more way before that that you've missed. Just letting you know, but thanks for the tutorial! :D
At the end of chapter 2 I tried to "kick" the left arm and it started glitching out and looked like it was still trying to grab at me... pretty freaky stuff
helpful hint, especially for ps4 users. when making the carrot, fish, and cheese stew....dont stand so close when throwing in the cheese otherwise it'll just keep bouncing back or even get stuck. I just bout went nuts trying to figure out why I couldnt get the cheese in the pot. carrot and fish I had no problem. but the cheese kept bouncing off the pot, then I took a step or two back and it went right in
Well it would help if the controls weren't so god awful, personally I'm struggling to get through it atm cause having to repeat sections multiple times just isn't fun. Really love the atmosphere and setting tho so I'm trying to press on.

Misses a lantern in chapter 2, you crawled past it right before trap scene and ran past it right before second elevator scene.... and 1 in the kitchen as soon as you complete the recipe and climb the food shelve. just saying. Love your guides maka, don’t know what I would do without them. Also your gamepass suggestions are amazing. Thanks

Found a random shortcut on accident!! At 1:06:01 instead of running into the room and hiding, you can hide to side and just outside the elevator. When the dude leaves he’ll spot you but if you’re quick you can get into the elevator and it will close shut before the dude can grab you.
This chef part is so fuxking broken. Even if i stand super close to the pot and yell KOBE the damn cheese or fish head lands in bowls in front and then I have to keep reloading checkpoint... im getting salty af
I read a few comments and would like to mention a trophy you missed in the kitchen area. If you throw a carrot, a fish head and a chunk of cheese in the large pot in the middle of the kitchen you get a trophy.
Actually, LN2 is the prequel. Its the story of Mono and six. It does show how six got her hunger. I liked it better, seemed to have a little more to do. Those mannequins were a pain with just a keyboard.
Limbo & inside definitely still the champions for me but I thought it was very kool being able to move in different dimensions versus simply left & right
10+13+20+15 = 58, because there are 58 collectibles in little nightmares 1, 5 collectibles in all three DLCS, which makes 15. 10 statues 13 nomes and 20 candles/lanterns. Which makes 43, so there are 58 collectibles!
Hey, Maka! I have a question on how you're recording on your Xbox One. I'm trying to start speedrunning and I'm not really sure how to start capturing my footage. 😅
You have the chapter break between 3 and 4 wrong (or something is messed up with the game). The break should be at 1:02:00 mark. You had a Nome that you credited as the first in chapter 4 and I believe it was actually the last one for chapter 3. In any case...when you load chapter 4 in the game it starts at your 1:02:00 mark and not the 59:22 that you credit it for...and there is a Nome collected in that window, so I believe it is actually one of the chapter 3 Nomes. Thanks for the guide though. I use a lot of your videos for cleaning up collectables. To bad this game is glitching achievements for me. I'm showing all statues broken...yet achievement tracking is only at 90%. Busted jank is what I call that.
Working with the way the controls are set on a keyboard made it a bit difficult in my opinion to switch between holding, crouching, moving, and sprinting. I changed the controls so right click is sprint, and clicking the scroll button in the mouse was crouch, and still have left click to hold...and boy was It was a game changer. I recommend these key binds for anyone who may be struggling on keyboard.

not a glitch, its suposed to do that to give the player a fright thinking its still alive

You have the chapter break between 3 and 4 wrong (or something is messed up with the game). The break should be at 1:02:00 mark. You had a Nome that you credited as the first in chapter 4 and I believe it was actually the last one for chapter 3.
In any case...when you load chapter 4 in the game it starts at your 1:02:00 mark and not the 59:22 that you credit it for...and there is a Nome collected in that window, so I believe it is actually one of the chapter 3 Nomes.
Thanks for the guide though. I use a lot of your videos for cleaning up collectables. To bad this game is glitching achievements for me. I'm showing all statues broken...yet achievement tracking is only at 90%. Busted jank is what I call that.

Working with the way the controls are set on a keyboard made it a bit difficult in my opinion to switch between holding, crouching, moving, and sprinting. I changed the controls so right click is sprint, and clicking the scroll button in the mouse was crouch, and still have left click to hold...and boy was It was a game changer. I recommend these key binds for anyone who may be struggling on keyboard.

The camera control and camera angles in this game are abysmal.
Yeah they’re pretty painful at times but in the end it gives the game a really great atmosphere
Most of my deaths were due to the camera and misjudging the spatial depth cos it's locked in 2.5d.
