The bird man (The Guest) is actually in the game. A bridge is next to the museum, leading to a new part of town with a tunnel. This tunnel leads to a new part of the game with The Guest. This new segment is referred to as the "final chapter of Act 2" in the files and is part of an upcoming story expansion update that has been in the works for quite a long time. So, if you're confused about why it turns to night even though you entered the tunnel in the daytime, the sentence above is why. Also, you can enter the tunnel anytime you like.

I think they added the new level around Halloween. It should’ve been part of the game when it was released, because people were disappointed that the Guest only appeared for a second before Quentin crashed. I wonder if it was also responsible for the crash in which the neighbor’s wife died? Also, I like the level’s spooky atmosphere, and that the Guest plays a bigger role now. However, I hate the parkour part.
I don't know why people don't like the first game that much, of course, it has its flaws, but if you just try to enjoy it, you will. Ik I went on a rant but whatever, hello neighbor 2 was 100 times better than the 1st
I personally think that the first game isn’t too bad. A lot of this opinion comes from the story. It’s of a man who had 2 kids. His wife died in a car crash. His son was mentally ill and pushed his sister from the top of the building. Not wanting to lose his son he hides his son in the basement. The player tries to get into the basement. The neighbour figuring out our goal locks us up in the basement along with his son. It’s been 2 months when we finally get out and escape. 19 years later I think he player is taken out of his apartment and goes back to his old home to only find the neighbours house in ruins. The player has a dream and in said dream finds out the neighbours secret. I personally think the story is similar to FNAFs but is far less complicated.
What is funny is that there is a guide book, that tells you how to get through Hello Neighbor 1, Hide and Seek, and Secret Neighbor. Secret Neighbor takes places in between Act 1 and 2 of the first game. There is also a novel series, which describes the timeline from before Hide and Seek to around the second game. Same, I honestly like hello neighbor. Although the gameplay is horrible, the story is amazing, especially if you've read the books as well ( which are great btw)
ESSAY TIME: before I start, the reason Mr. Peterson's house changes is because it's how the character you play as percives it. the hello neighbor story starts when the town is founded by the Travish Family sometime in like the 1400's or so, then Mr. Petersons parents moved to raven brooks in 1950's they studied weird weather patterns (AND FIGURED OUT HOW TO CONTROL WEATHER!!!?!?!?!?!?!??!) until they supposedly found out about a cult called the Forrest protectors. Unfortunately for them the cult used luck rituals against them and their lives were ruined, but they continued to work despite not being funded by the Travish family (respect). Mr. Peterson had a brother and a sister (I think) but the brother died or something at the weather station their parents work at (L) then Mr. Peterson as an adult starts designing theme parks, but they always end up in disaster and the family has to move, he has a boy named Aaron and a daughter named Maya, the wife is named Andel I believe, when they move to raven brooks, they Ravens return a month early. Everyone thinks they brought bad luck over the town and Aaron and Maya get bullied at school, but they find friends, Enzo, Maritsa, trinity and lucy Y they get along well. Then Mr. Peterson is asked to build a new theme park for the golden apple corporation (run by the travishes) but then then Aaron and mya find out about the Forrest protector cult and if you read the start, you probably know how the cult feels about this, Also the Tavish family are a part of the cult. The cult rigg up the park to kill Mr. Peterson and his family, but it kills Lucy Y instead. Mr. Peterson goes a little crazy. that's all I've got up too at this point of Aarons point of view from the books but now it's time for the game's story/ Nicky's story, so Nicky Roth moves in to Raven brooks and meets Aaron and his family, he does meet Enzo too, but Enzo is scared of Aaron, this is because he is scared of Peterson (I think) but when Aaron goes Missing he persuades Aarons old friend's to go into Mr. Peterson's house and look for clues. Soon all his friends are deep in the rabbit hole, but when the police take action due to the evidence the kids found, everyone thinks they have done enough, but not Nicky. He eventually gets locked in Mr. Petersons basement though, then All of Nicky's friend's trying to help Nicky escape, to find out how just play the vr game, you may think but secret neighbor is Nicky's friends helping him but actually that game just the kids brainstorming ideas to get Nicky out and is all in their heads. so, after the kids let Aaron get out of his prison Aaron helps Nicky escape (cardboard cutout unlocks the door in the biggening of act 2) to let everyone escape Aaron make a diversion to distract Mr. Peterson, then Mr. Peterson Attempts to bring Aaron back inside but Quintin witnesses this. (one long hello neighbor sequel gameplay later) Nicky moves into his old house in 2017, he gets over his fears in a massive version of Mr. Petersons house. And the last thing in the timeline takes place in 2020 I think were Mr. Peterson tries to flood Raven brooks using the weather station that controls the weather and the guest causes time to be broken I guess lol.
The show is, like, genuinely good. (Spoilers if anybody cares.) The show is different from the games by a lot. The neighbor is, like, actually unnerving. He does *something* to Nicky after kidnapping him that very literally traumatizes him. He also murders. A lot. There’s an onscreen death in the first *3 minutes* of the *first episode.* Also, the guest has more screen time in the final episode than in (aside from the new stuff) Hello neighbor 2. But, probably the scariest thing that happens in the show, the neighbor chases past his property line. I genuinely liked it, and I’m not ashamed of it.
@@CSY_ They tried to get a publisher, but failed, so it’s more like a RUclips series. I’m glad they didn’t get a publisher. No way the show would be like this if there was one. Don’t watch the pilot, it sucks and the story restarts after it.
Yeah the show is really good Theres also the Books that are pretty good imo and the Neighbor at least in my opinion is at times even creepier then in the show

Very nice video! I really enjoyed watching this video, even though I never fully played both of the games. You clearly deserve more viewers and subscribers!
Letting you know if you really love the night time of raven brooks you should really visit the forest! It’s great and a little spooky and make sure to check on the game in the upcoming months because they have actually been updated hello neighbor 2 to make it better! They are planning on expanding on the cliff hanger ending and adding new free chapters! Even though the second game could be a little better it is an actually a win for the community because the devs actually seem like they want to fix their mistakes with these updates. Also I love your editing and pacing.
(i didnt watch all the vid) the lore is NOT janky. He had 2 kids and a wife. Theodor was a normal father. His son pushed her dougher off The roof in a argument in hide and seek (at the roler coaste cut scene) (a diffirent game). And he got in a car accident and he lost his wife and son. A theory: when he lost his family, he went to sleep and in The dream, he talked to "the thing" (The thing is the boss whem you protect the kid) he talked to the thing and Theodor said : you need to kidnap children. To make others feel how you feel" and Then the thing teleported him in The hospital next to his wife while she was dying. Thats why he is a absolute sycopath and a kidnapper. English is NOT my first language and thats why i chould have written some things wrong but i tried my best
And it’s a very good game I platnuimed it and enjoyed it a lot I would recommend it yes do watch a guide but besides that it’s still a great game to play alone and it’s not really bugging it never crashed for me and I got the platinum like 2-3 days before this video came out but very good game
I really had really Fun with HN 1 (also 2) and good story in the First game, got really interesting story and was imo very nicely told. I liked both games very much.
2 had okay story, Puzzles are bit better, has really good grafics, and cool atmosphere. Ai are both broken xD dunno which one has better Ai.. Gameplay is in.. 2 better, but I had no problem with the first game gameplay..
the guest does get an entire own section of the game actually and there is the hide and seek game where you play as the neighbors' kids also there's a much easier way to get the growing tree puzzle but play hide and seek to find out how the daughter died
Hello Neighbor 2 failed because of what the promised versus what the released. The final product isn't on it's own terrible but it becomes bad if had the expectations that people did on release.
the lore of the first game: niki roth, the character you play as, is playing along the road when he spots theodore peterson, the neighbor, grabbing his son, aaron peterson, and locking him in their basement. the reason is because peterson had lost his wife and daughter. his wife from a car crash, and his daughter, mya peter son, to falling to her death after a heated argument with her brother. theodore locks aaron inside his basement, for he is scared for losing him too. niki decides to investigate, getting caught and sent to his house. after which he breaks in and gets inside the basement, searching for aaron. enraged, theodore chases niki for trying to free his son, catching niki in the process. after spending 4 months inside his neighbor’s basement, niki escapes. (the walls i have heard from niki’s imagination, but i doubt it and dont know for sure). many years later, niki is living in his own apartment, before getting an eviction notice. he moves back to his old home, where the neighbor’s house is in ruin. he then sleeps and dreams of a large, monstrous house. after many vigorous challenges, he gets in the basement and battles the giant neighbor and protects his younger self from the thing, the shadow monster jn the finale, which represents his childhood trauma, and niki himself getting over it. after defeating the thing and theodore, he lives without his dreadful thought of the neighbor, and the game ends.
I'm surprised he didn't play the current patch of the game (you tell from his loading screen cause in current it's a clock spinning not the three dots underneath it).
I platinumed HN1 (and HN1 only) and from what I can say, I'm never touching this game ever again. I remember playing the game and the Neighbor put like 30 cameras in one spot (not even joking) and I had to break them and take them all down, so that I couldn't get caught. My least favorite part in the game is the mini games, especially the teacher one. My least favorite trophy requirement in this game is (Don't Bite Snow White), it's odd that you have to wait 3 real life hours for a tree to grow. What I did after doing the chores to make it start growing, I plugged the charger into the controller and taped the right anolog stick, (aiming it to the right). Then I did some different activities while the player was spinning, then I came back and got the achievement. I think they should've went with their original plan and actually Improved on the (Pre Alpha/Alpha 1) versions).
For some reason I really want to help this game to get un-buggy and stuff for example for the tree, it grows in like 5 mins and if u put flashlights it grows way faster due to light and with the fast throw where u can fly, I guess if I was able to help I would've made so you can only get this ability if you complete Fear_Factory.Again, if I was able to work on the game I would make so that the glue glitch where it flings you, I would've made so the glue model couldn't be collided except an invisible block where it slows you down which would've made it I guess better and the last other thing if I was a dev what I would do is at act 1, where the player is like at the balcony of the neighbor's house,I would've made so the neighbor does an animation like "curse you kid!" and then he starts to climb on the balcony thing (idk what the name is). Also I would've made some sense with the events instead of like "get earth, freeze earth, put earth in capsule, water freezes". Yeah that's some stuff I guess, I just hope I will be able to help since I am slowly learning programming and stuff
the guest aka birdman has its own level in the game, its a forest added in the update patch 10 including the guest (birdman), you have not explored the forest, too bad
to be fair hello neighbour is a goated game with puzzles etc etc but the thing is the bugs the story is wonderful i have to admit hope this comment helps a lil
Hello Neighbor had so much potential. More than I can even describe or explain. I could go on a tangent for days about every little thing that is wrong with the final product, but my 14 year old self would tell that story better. It really is a shame that the game went from a genuinely fun and spooky experience with lore and adult themes to a kid friendly joke of a game. Garten of Banban is scarier than this joke of a kiddy franchise! I should also mention that the console version of the first game has received NO UPDATES OR BUG FIXES unlike the PC version. Peterson doesn't even use his vacuum cleaner when you're out of sight! Unfortunately the creators don't give a toss about making their franchise evolve from a cashgrab.
There are three options to know the story you can watch the show, play hello neighbour hide and seek story is perfect and you get the books they are really really good
The neighbor did not kill the girl (Mya Peterson). Aaron Peterson and Mya Peterson were siblings. They were playing hide and seek in they're imagination. Mya got her doll because Aaron took it. Aaron Slapped the doll out of Mya's hand causing it to fall off the house. Then Aaron got mad and pushed Mya off the house causing her to die. The car acident was the neighbor and his wife crashing , his wife later died in the hospital. The Neighbor locks Aaron up to keep him safe and doesn't want to lose his last family member.
for those who don't know the lore the neighbor had a wife and 2 kids the wife died in a accident and one time the neighbors kids were playing hide & seek tag and the daughter fell off the roof and died and the neighbor got i to a deep depression
the game is not that unstable to crash 10 times dont be dramatic, i have it on ps4, pc and switch and it rarely crashes if it does and why is having the sun and moon room a pointless mechanic? its adding more to the game so whats the issue? it isnt required anyway, and even when its dark you can still see unless ur monitor just really sucks its fine

21:22 Pet the car? 😂
PET THE CAR.
There’s a show? Wow never knew that!
@@CSY_
They tried to get a publisher, but failed, so it’s more like a RUclips series. I’m glad they didn’t get a publisher. No way the show would be like this if there was one. Don’t watch the pilot, it sucks and the story restarts after it.
Yeah the show is really good Theres also the Books that are pretty good imo and the Neighbor at least in my opinion is at times even creepier then in the show
@@SpikeForrestGaming i like the fact that i know exactly which video you watched for this
@@SpikeForrestGaming they just did yesterday
the only diference is its now on prime where the episodes should relesae week early but it should still be on youtube only later
At least the show has a good reputation
Hello neighbor one was a masterclass
yes
Great video bro! I really liked all of the comparisons you made between the games. These games are def wild with the bugs and stuff tho 😂
Ayy thanks man! Yea man the first game is probably the worst thing ive played all year 😂
@@CSY_ you should play hello suss 💀
@@ncredible5233 bro what even is that 😂😂😂
if you have a pc and friends then i would recommend getting the game on steam because there is a sale rn and a modder made a co op mod that is really fun
@@ncredible5233 hell yea! I’ll definitely look into that dude!
I did the 2 platinum trophy's 5 days ago Hello neighbor platinum is so bored because of the golden tree and hello neighbor 2 is a little bit hard
Hello neighbor story Is actually good and very interesting, and the game Is good too but too many bugs
The game is so bad it's fun idk how to explain it. The more frustrating it is the better the game is
Looking back, I was a bit harsh, the game is dog, but I had fun, glitches made me laugh HARD
if I could recommend something, the previous alpha versions of hello neighbor 2. For example, hello guest. Some alphas are actually fun and scary 👍
Very nice video! I really enjoyed watching this video, even though I never fully played both of the games. You clearly deserve more viewers and subscribers!
Thank you! Appreciate that so much!
neighbor [11:17] : ahh what a nic - AAAAAAaaaa~~~
i remember playing 1 in 2017 and in act two i was on the minecart cutscene and i got teleported outside of the gates hence i completed it from a bug
In my opinion, I absolutely love hello neighbour, although i do respect what you think. i think that the glitches make it more fun and goofy.
Dude says the story makes no sense when oh hey look! WHATS THAT HELLO NEIGHBOR HIDE AND SEEK WHICH HE SKIPPED
I will be sure to check that out when it updates! Thank you for the feedback I really appreciate it! More vids coming soon! :)
And honestly it’s all your opinion mine is it’s a great game
you know a game's bad when the alpha versions are better than the final release.
100% dude!
11:10 cannot stop rewatching this 😂
Glad you didn't do hide and seek those achievements are kinda hard to get a few of them
I’ll likely do them one day!
Very nice! For some reason it just didn’t want to work on my ps, crashes happened every 30 mins mostly so took ages recording this!
@@CSY_ yea I understand things like that happen
Ain't no way jit called the mayor the musician
17:26 that’s actually not the last time we see him! Over the red bridge and through the tunnel
Blud didn’t even went to the forest where crow face really is 💀
Didn’t know it existed bruh 😂
Play Hello Neighbor: Hide And Seek. It explains more about the story!
Might have to make that a follow up to this vid!
Bugs or without bugs, the story was AMAZING, I honestly don’t care if anyone disagrees, I like both games, but I prefer the first one.
hello neighbour isn’t terrible but it is bad I think
the guest does get an entire own section of the game actually and there is the hide and seek game where you play as the neighbors' kids also there's a much easier way to get the growing tree puzzle but play hide and seek to find out how the daughter died
my man rocking the toon army shirt
You know it, biggest club in the world
28:40 ayooo😂😂
(the walls i have heard from niki’s imagination, but i doubt it and dont know for sure). many years later, niki is living in his own apartment, before getting an eviction notice. he moves back to his old home, where the neighbor’s house is in ruin. he then sleeps and dreams of a large, monstrous house. after many vigorous challenges, he gets in the basement and battles the giant neighbor and protects his younger self from the thing, the shadow monster jn the finale, which represents his childhood trauma, and niki himself getting over it. after defeating the thing and theodore, he lives without his dreadful thought of the neighbor, and the game ends.
why do u diss the hello neighbour lore so much? It has so much potential and really makes senses when you look at it at another perspective.
I think the lore is shallow, but looking back was nowhere near as bad as I claim it to be
I'm surprised he didn't play the current patch of the game (you tell from his loading screen cause in current it's a clock spinning not the three dots underneath it).
Nvm my dumbass forgot that Tiny Build didn't give that patch a console port.
0:43 LMAO
11:19 this should be a simulation game where you drive into Peterson hello neighbor with a car
I really wish hello neighbour 1 was mixed with hello neighbour 2, the houses more realistic, not clunky, more polished, easier puzzles and better AI
I watched this while completing hello neighbour 2 for the second time
Am I the only one who don’t see this game as a failure but just a hard game that has funny some funny bugs
The finzar preset packet is a dub
Unfortunately the creators don't give a toss about making their franchise evolve from a cashgrab.
yo you should try platinuming hello neighbor hide and seek
Very likely I will!
LITTLE BRO GOT HOT BYE A CAR LOOOOOL
There are three options to know the story you can watch the show, play hello neighbour hide and seek story is perfect and you get the books they are really really good
GTA 4 loading music 😂
Hello guest a alpha for hello neighbor 2 is better 💀☠ hello neighbor is trying the same thing again disappointing as f#*k
Nice video mate!
Thank you so much mate!
Nice jersey CSY 😎
Hello neighbor’s movie is monster house but the house isn’t a monster
you don't even need any of the abilities to beat the first hello neighbor game let alone keys
Now do hello neighbor hide and seek
You forgot The Guest forest part in hello neighbor 2
for those who don't know the lore the neighbor had a wife and 2 kids the wife died in a accident and one time the neighbors kids were playing hide & seek tag and the daughter fell off the roof and died and the neighbor got i to a deep depression
In my opinion hello neighbor 1 was the better game because of its replayability and the dact that you could install mods making it basicly endless
Little bro got hit by a car LOOOL
Consoles didnt get all updates, only pc has the newest version where neighbor can get you off the roof
What you mean it is was a Masterpiece
u can find the Bird man when u go to the forest
the game is not that unstable to crash 10 times dont be dramatic, i have it on ps4, pc and switch and it rarely crashes if it does and why is having the sun and moon room a pointless mechanic? its adding more to the game so whats the issue? it isnt required anyway, and even when its dark you can still see unless ur monitor just really sucks its fine
If you don’t know anything about the game and it’s story then don’t complain about it
