    "ATTACK and DECAY" I think is what you mean when explaining how "punchy", "slappy" or "sharp" the woofer sounds. Thanks for all the videos man. I prefer your stuff over the other car audio channels. No stupid jokes in every video, no talkin' bad about bros, knowledgeable, factual, quantifyable facts and truth. Great job.

      Thanks man yea I try to be drama free and just be nice to everyone. I try to help people by explaining as much as I can about the products and the sound because I know most people can’t listen to 50 subs, amps etc so I try to help people find something that they will be happy with. Appreciate the kind comment!

    I think XRs have similar qualitys they play kick drum great but still hit the lows nice n buttery and they wake up on not a ton of power, on my sons 1200w pioneer that used to be mine will push 2 xr15s nicely they really wake up on my 5k just seem way more athoritive but great on his 1200w amp he did a 142db on music in a tahoe with stock electrical, not crazy but great for a small amp. That GM D9701.1 dynoed at 1203 certified or uncertified and 1763w dynamic, thats respectable for an older half bridge 1200, there like $200 sibs now and there indestructible... he clips the hell out them im sure and never stink i had them on that 1200 an apcle 1800 and a cab45 and they never stunk once, ive gotten everything else stinky even my custom 400oz 8 layer 3"x2.5" coiled 15s i built on that cab. I have over $1000 in those 2 subs and they have considerably more output than the XRs but Hindsight i should have kept them and bought 4 more XRs, with 6 i would have had way more output and saved $200+ but then again my boy wouldnt have em and he loves them, he sits outside in driveway cranking it and the house is rattling that gets old lol. but those golds seem like a great option also, But all of that is just my opinion and whats that just another regular joes 2¢

    I have 2 of these, 15" 2ohm d.v.c. that I wired down to half an ohm in a sealed box, guesstimating, 3 q.f a woofer, so 6 sq ft total, being pushed by an old school
    Orion 2500D, Chrome Surfboard Edition, amplifier....and also.....
    2 Kicker 15" L7S,4ohm d.v.c., in a slotted port box , a little bigger than the Gold Series box, wired to 1 ohm, pushed by a 2019ish
    Hi Fonics Brutus BXX3000.1D AND...not comparing squares and circles, but I feel the Resilient 15s maybe need a ported enclosure to match the "lower sounding" Kickers. If that makes sense. A tuned sine wave of a particular Hz,let's say 20hz, over a period of time, the same 20hz, is not a true test of a subwoofer, to me, where in music ,bass could go from 40-400hz , depending who's playing the bass guitar! This is when I realized that all subwoofers are not created equal....and pushing volumes of air, does not equate to the "sounds" certain sub woofers can reproduce, while pushing air..... I think I need a little more product testing and tuning of my system, and I do like the resilient subs, I also purchased off their site, compared many specs of subs, u.s.a./ made in china, and the gold 15s seemed comparable to many higher priced subs, from different companies, I also picked up 2 for a Sale price. They sound a lot better than the Memphis "component" 15" subs with the switchable ohms , I changed them for!

      That’s a hard one the RS gold v1 are smoother sounding as the vxf are punchier that’s the main difference. Both hit lows well but the vxf handle a little more power. I would say the vxf take the cake. But the RS gold V2 are the ultimate.

      For sound quality two of these 15s in an 8 ft.³ box is good but you will lose some power handling if you are trying to push it past its limits. If if you are trying to overpower them to the max, I would go 6 ft.³.

    • @HiFiVector
      @HiFiVector  6 месяцев назад +1

      The Rs Gold V1 has better SQ than the Hifonics brw 12”. It’s more accurate and hit the lows a little better. I love the Hifonics brw subs for for some reason Hifonics didn’t give the 12” a big enough motor. The 8”, 10” and 15” versions bare killer. Just the 12”. I think they got lazy and used the motor from the 10” and n the 12”. It still sounds good just not punchy and for rock , metal and fast bass the accuracy is a little weak. So in the 12” size resilient sounds good V1 would be my choice.

    • @thanosthrone9893
      @thanosthrone9893 6 месяцев назад

      Thanks so much for the in-depth explanation that’s sad the put a small motor on the 12 what a bad idea since it’s the most popular size! I might get the 10 since I saw in your video it’s near perfect! I wish they had it in 18! So I just ordered the resilient gold 12 v1 I honestly thing for 200 bucks there’s nothing in the market that comes close at this point!
