I love this sort of story. And, yes, North Koreans have so much to give to the betterment of society if only given the opportunity. The two Koreas, united under free enterprise, civil rights, and the rule of law, would be a very impressive powerhouse of achievement. Let's all hope it occurs ASAP.

That Kim family rule has to fall and the Koreas have to unite for a better future. Those leaders need to rot in hell.

heh... that man is adorable.. *the audacity of calling a man who defected, and raised himself up to an elite university ..learned very passable english... going to uni for political science so he can give back to society is pretty out there.*...but still... the man is adorable...

I am hooked on the North Korean nowadays and binged watch their story and interviews and I like him, his attitude, and his optimistic view. Some other NK refugees would get angry if South Koreans asked them if there is a hamburger or chicken in NK which I think is the normal question because most of the NK defectors usually say the scarcity of food. No one knows what's life is like inside Nk. It was themselves only who told the story of Nk and that's how the world perceives them. Called the south Korean racist in public who actually helped them. Yes racism exists everywhere in the world but at least if they are not grateful to the Sk I wish they would zip their mouth to the public.

Why is the interviewer asking questions about the Han river? Learn some basic facts about Korea before doing interviews. Very embarrassing.

it's for the viewers to know, those interviews are made for that the people watching it get informations, the job of an interviewer is to be paid to ask questions while being recorded

His questions aren’t necessarily questions that he actually has. They’re just for the viewers. Reporters do this all the time.
