People, Vinnie was just the cameraman. The genius behind the editing was the man himself who showed up at the end - the clip art God Matt Hunziker.

But now there are two cameras... And you can tell there is much more effort put into the production, the lighting, a frikin boom-mic, and someone feeding him the next step off-camera. Thats what made the earlier episodes so charming, they were much more off the cuff and paced just like Brad giving an afternoon tutorial with Vinny as the witness. It's pretty obvious they decided to put the money into the production as opposed to the post production, and frankly its a shame... Not that it's a deal breaker but the new main camera height is noticeably higher than Vinny's vantage.
@@calmartin93 I also found this camera work to be worse at times. Even ignoring the people and equipment (sometimes the wall corner) showing on-screen, there are awkward angles, shots lingering for too long - at 8:21 you can see Brad telling the cameraperson to "look at that" and click the tool he's holding. But they didn't zoom in until about 8 awkward seconds later. Vinny would have gotten the cue.
Some of the angle and lingering problems could've probably been edited in post, but I think it's lacking overall, and honestly? The interaction and personality and humor were at least 1/2 if not 2/3 of what made me watch videos with Brad in them. I think I might just pass on the "new production".

My takeaway: any food can be gourmet if you take time to prepare it well.
Any dish* can be gourmet. Two dollar store bought bologna is still disgusting though. A dish (ie the ham sandwich) can be elevated, but this isn't particularly elevated. He just mixed mustard, mayo and pickles and fried some bologna. That's not gourmet, it's almost food-processor prep.
Honestly I love Brad with all of my heart, but I couldn't get enough of Chris in the background just with his subtle facial expressions to this man's ridiculousness. I love it.
I'm sure there's a guy at that cutting board place that thought to himself "I'm going to send Brad a board, get a shoutout and sales are going to go thru the roof!!" and then brad forgets their name. Classic.

Fried bologna is a timeless classic. My grandpa used to stock his freezer with his favorite brand when it went on sale. Had one of these almost every time I visited.

When I was a kid, 40-some years ago, we ate "cold fried bologna sandwiches" mostly. We took them when we went to play in the snow or cut a Christmas tree... Mom cut hers the same and used cast iron but it was a third of the way filled with oil - mostly bacon grease, and served up on pillowy soft white bread with French's mustard... in the summer she'd get fancy and add iceberg & tomato. This really brought back memories! Thanks:)

Hey brad, did my own little twist on this and it came out great! So I took some 12 grain and toasted it and did a tablespoon of grey poupon and mayo and 4 dill pickle slices chopped finely, did some thin sliced turkey breast and havarti cheese with an over medium egg.. definitely worth a try! I think this little dressing concoction is great. Will definitely be using in the future! Bon appétit!
