    Hong Kong has some of the best food in the world, so much variety, I’m lucky to have a partner from HK which means travelling many times and to all areas the usual tourists don’t see, also in China have travelled so far from tourist areas

    Good stuff Chris. Nice little walking tour. I've been to HK 9 times, but never ventured to North Point. I always stayed in Kowloon. NP does look lively. And Bubble waffles are pretty awesome. There are a lot of different flavors. I've had chocolate, vanilla along with the one you had. And you are absolutely right about the hotel situation. If you're going to stay in a city like HK, you need to spend the money and enjoy yourself. Don't go cheap. I stayed at a pretty run down Holiday Inn in Kowloon, which had dirty carpets and plumbing issues. It was pretty terrible. I spent the money for a better place in future visits. Your hotel looked pretty damn awesome. Anyway, solid series, good editing and use of music. Looking forward to more.

    Indeed HK is a concrete jungle but we also have some of the best hiking trails in Asia spreading over HK Island, Kowloon, the New Territories, Lantau and some other outlying islands. And after a good hike, when you have enough of countryside, you can get back to downtown for a delicious lunch or dinner within an hour.

  • @dimsumyen4034
    @dimsumyen4034 10 месяцев назад

    Yes, HK is a concrete jungle but we also have some very well-maintained world class hiking trails spreading all over HK Island, Kowloon, the New Territories, Lantau and other Outlying Islands. The best part is that you can get back to the city centre to enjoy some delicious dimsum within an hour (or sometimes 30 minutes) after a beautiful hike. It’s all about diversified here … and our city is so compact that you can do a lot in a very short time. However you do need a longer stay to deeply explore HK. Love you happy-go-lucky attitude. Travel safe! ❤
