i love seeing the dude at the top drop his jaw and do a pog face at all the cool stuff happening on screen, and then looking to the left and seeing xqc trying to figure out if he should slightly furrow or raise his eyebrows (he really has no idea what hes looking at, theres nothing left in there).

It's like you guys got short-term memory loss because when that game first released it was the same complaint of "oh that isn't doom guy" or my favorite one "The art style looks so cartoonish what happened to 2016" I already said this but just sit back wait for more gameplay to happen and wait for the game to release to see the reception and then it make you statement on whatever you have.

@@waterhose8467 Absolutely, also like, have y'all not actually looked at the design of some of the classic DOOM levels, shit has so many medieval/gothic architecture in the textures it's unbelievable. Another thing to add is this is basically DOOM's version of Army of Darkness from the Evil Dead series, as Evil Dead is a main staple in the franchise as an inspiration. If "fans" only think of DOOM 2016 as the pinnacle and only true DOOM game, then they are just flat out stupid, sorry but it's a stupid take. DOOM has always been goofy, cartoonish, and just bizarre in it's own right. I didn't actually touch DOOM 1 & 2 until after playing DOOM '16, but I do understand what a DOOM game is, and that's absurd and glorious violence against demonic foes while listening to groovy af metal.
