hehe Nice Engine sound :) I like the acceleration of your CR-V
When trying to set a 0-60MPH times, you should turn off traction control and engage brake hold system, come to a complete stop and take your foot off the brake pedal and hammer the gas pedal when ready. Key is to smash the gas pedal very suddenly/instantly! My accord hybrid actually looses traction when I use this method and it goes much faster compared to holding both brake pedal and gas pedal and then releasing the brake pedal method. I learned it after 2 years of accord hybrid ownership. I'm sure it's gonna be the same for the CR-V Hybrid since it's basically the same powertrain system just hooked up to all 4 wheels
Hello!
Thank you for your feedback, but it wasn’t our purpose to that things with this specific car.
All the things you said, we usually do them with cars that are made for that! Not SUV’s that the most important thing is the comfort.
We wanted to show it’s ability to accelerate in conditions like that (like you would do in your daily drive) and not with everything OFF!
You can check our other videos if you want to see those things 😄.
Thank you!
@@UnlimitedAuto I get 6 seconds 0-60MPH times in my 2018 Accord Hybrid
Здравствуйте,у меня тоже аккорд гибрид,подскажите регламент регулировки клапанов?
@@UnlimitedAuto can you compare the CRV with RAV4 same year ? Which one is better in terms of comfort, hadnling, noise ?
I don't understand. Does this car have one gear? Why does it sound like it doesn't change gears? Thanks for such an interesting POV.
It doesn’t have “gears”. Thats why you hear this endless sound like it will explode 😅
@@UnlimitedAuto interesting. Thanks for the response.
The difference with the CR V is that it doesn’t have a CVT gear box, the drive is fully electric until you get to around 50 mph. Below that the engine is acting purely as a generator, at 50 or so there is just one gear which engages the engine through 1 ratio, thats where both electric and petrol work together. The Rav 4 makes the same kind of sound except that does have a CVT gear box. The CRV has more powerful electric motors to achieve this..This isn’t how you really drive a hybrid anyway, its mush better to progressively squeeze the throttle in Sport mode. If you really do want maximum acceleration at all times then fair enough but maybe you should buy a BMW
The new Honda HR-V Hybrid simulates gears on hard acceleration. I like that much better.
@@fordgalaxie3726 Interesting, I guess as we all move towards electric we will get out of the habit of engine gear change noises
Interesting approach. I think usually these cars are driven less sporty.
If you want to "push it" sometimes, it has no problems dealing with some accelerations!
@@UnlimitedAuto that sounds great.
What was the 0-100 time?
It takes almost 9 seconds!
7.5sec I guess
How is road, wind noise in cabin?
It's very quiet in the cabin, and while driving is very confortable!
This video doesn't messure anything. 0 - 100 km no clue. Noise in the cabin in dB. No not at all. There are some wind noice and from the road in CR-V. But the car looks nice.
Lots of body roll?
You can feel it a bit, not too much but it’s not the most stable SUV 😅
@@UnlimitedAuto do you have any reference for how it compares to the Subaru outback?
Interesting engine but that sounds doesnt work for me.
cosmic blue?
YES!
It has about 190hp
If you go to configurator, you can check that it has 145HP!
@@UnlimitedAuto It's 184ps, i know, i own one. The configurator only gives the engine power of 145ps and does not give battery power till further down the page then giving you the 184ps. 0-62 in 8.8 and top speed off 112mph for the 2 wheel drive. 9.2 seconds to 62mph is AWD.
184 HP 315 Nm.
@@paulrobinson3528 I did 0-62 in 8.0s with the AWD version. Pretty quick.
@@geekstar2937 How where you measuring that? I've owned both the front wheel drive and AWD Hybrid, the AWD is my present one. The front wheel drive is definitely quicker, 30 50mph is awesome. I've seen reports somewhere that it has 212bhp but only above 100mph, not sure on that. My AWD does 106mph when the battery is empty and 114mph when full. Had 117mph out my front wheel drive. I feel the AWD needs a bit more power. I love burning peeps off at the traffic light grand prix. I wonder what the Cr-v hybrid 0-30mph times are??
Looks like a lifted combi or minivan😅
sounds like a saw 2
That breathing noises are just horrible. Couldn't watch it longer than 2 minutes
CVT orribile... Suono odioso sembra uno scooter e figurati quando avrá 100k km che concerto di punterie... Orrendo. Dovevano mettere un turbodiesel da 140hp e cambio con convertitore di coppia. Con il benzina il consumo è troppo alto. Hybrido conviene solo e a benzina riesco a fare 40 km litro altrimenti meglio diesel puro. Grande auto la Crv ma con CVT nemmeno regalata
