I'm only 14, I don't know shit about hardships in life, but I was with my Dad a couple years ago when his mother was dying in the hospital from a stroke. She was 90. We were just driving around in our Saab 95 with Suite For 20 G in the CD player, trying to think only happy thoughts. This dude we know as JT is the definition of therapy through music. That’s the one and only Bill Payne, obviously. It was Bonnie or Linda who once said that there was a period that all concerts and recordings in LA had to be cancelled if Billy was ill.
Payne is a giant among keyboard players, and this tune is in his wheelhouse (as are so many of his Little Feat numbers).
