Yes yes , slomo is really spanish in the Style, mostly in English with a Singer that was not even from Spain...or Manuel Navarro with a beach Style Song in English too. That's is not true at all , only this year in the recent times we had something traditional from a part of Spain.

Spain recieved the least score from people and i was a bit disappointed for that, i didn't mean the music was bad, i was just a bit confused cause how can people tell it is way too good for eurovision and then had that score. It was just an ironic comment but in the way to remark that after all there are as many colours as tastes and pherhaps i unconsciously make a satirical response to the comment of julia, cause i just saw the spain score of eurovision.

Spain's song was a fantastic blend of modern and folk sounds, which made it both original and enjoyable. It wasn't mainstream, but that's what made it even more special. I also appreciate hearing every country sing in their native language instead of trying to sell themselves by singing in English. It adds to the diversity and richness of the contest.

If this contest was about music, then this would be the winner this year
the contest is about music, but most people voting are voting based on hearing a song once. This means the catchier pop songs can pop more than the more complex songs - which is fine, it's how they are designed to be, but it does mean a song placing at the bottom of the table does not meant it was bad! All the entries this year were good in their own way

I had never seen Eurovision before. This year I watched the live finals with friends. The moment I heard this song, I said, "This must win." It blew my mind it didn't score so well. Besides brilliantly representing Spanish music with Flamenco, the song is so original in its own right that it doesn't conform to anyone's preconceived notions of what Flamenco should sound like. It has almost no instrumentation aside from some pulsing synth and some simple percussion, both of which weave in and out in a way that surprises and delights. The only constants are the signature Flamenco clapping and amazing vocal melodies and harmonies. The lyrics themselves are elegant, powerful, and haunting. I'm not a skilled music reviewer by any means so I'll stop here, but damn, this song is pure fuego. 12/10 bravo Blanca Paloma!

The first time I heard this song, I dismiss it as too regional, it sounded like a flamenco Christmas carol! But on second hearing, it turned it to be the sweetest lullaby! In case you don't understand Spanish, the chorus goes: the day I die (el dia en que yo me muera), I want to be buried in the moon (que me entierren en la luna) so he can see me everynight (pa' que to'a las noches me vea) to'a las noches, menos una (all the nights, except one)! Tomorrow its Mother Day here in USA, all mothers will be singing that (the ones that speak Spanish, I mean)l I love it, and I don't care if it wins. It has meaning, it has heart!!!
