This song impressed me beyond words, I hope people will take the time to understand the depth of this song before rushing to clasify it as "noise", because we rarely get the chance to hear such high quality music at Eurovision. Spain deserves to win this year 🇪🇸

The song talks about how whenever she dies, she wants to be buried in the moon to look after her child except for the New Moon day. Eaea is the sound that mothers make when they want to calm down their child here.
This song was written in honor of Blanca Paloma's grandmother "Yaya Carmen", who passed away around the time she created this song.
@@mrfriend2308 "Mi niño cuando me muera que me entierren en la luna" means my child when I die they must bury me on the moon so it's the mom that dies and she wants to take care of him from there. In the moon cycle there's one day where there's no moon so that's the night she's not taking care of him. EAEA is the sound a mom does when taking care of a baby. First time ever I’ve been impressed by a Eurovision entry. This is simply extraordinary, deeply rooted in Spanish soul, Flamenco, but highly original and surprisingly without traditional backing guitars, purely percussive, as White Dove’s voice soars and catches fire! Breathtaking.

I'd only say: Protect Benidorm at all costs. Spain finally playing its A-Game.
Don’t ask me why, but I think this was much better than the eurovision final performance. So underrated though.
It certainly is! The problem is, the camera work and scenography in Liverpool was quite difficult to handle for most of the teams. It was not possible to replicate this performance. Camera angles and the lighting were different and it affects our experience as a viewer. This performance is 10 times better than the one in Liverpool. The same thing happened with Loreen for example. If you watch the performance she did in Sweden it is much better.
Yes, Sweden’s performance was also better in the national final but it wasn’t as complex as Spain’s. What I missed the most at Liverpool from this performance was the shot right from above (I call it "The Moon Shot" 1:05). At first, you only see her surrounded by white light. Then the camera goes up to reveal the white circle (the moon?) and then it reveals the red strings around it (an eye?). This happens right when she is singing to her child that when she dies she wants to be buried in the moon for her to see him everyday but one. This was all lost at Liverpool. Maybe they could’ve done it where they ended their performance, but I think it would’ve not made any difference (among other details). Sweden’s upper screen was smaller, but the camera angles were pretty much the same.
I completely agree - this version is vastly better than the Eurovision performance, particularly the sound mix. This version is powerful and in tune, whereas the Eurovision version was reedy, atonal and clashing.
I hadn’t noticed the sound mix, but I’ve heard some people complain about it in general during the whole show.

Eurovision came about as a way of connecting a continent and exhibiting its immense cultural diversity. In choosing Blanca Paloma, Spain has picked an entry that would make its founders proud and which does so much justice to Spanish musical traditions. What this song is about
This entry from Spain was a big gamble, but “go big or go home” must have been the theme of Benidorm this year. There were so many good entries this time around. EAEA stage performance along with Blanca’s voice may seal the deal for Spain this time around because the entire package was a work of art! We will find out in Liverpool if the rest of Europe feels the same.

Lots of theatricality in here. Spain is creating its own playing fields outside of a strictly song contest and that's the right thing to do. Last year with a extremely involved dancing crew. This year camping on stage with their own theatre. Will be rewarded with a top position again.

The way she will close some mouths in May lol. Remember Konstrakta last year : Serbian people always believed in her, they always seen her talent and look at the result she got. It's not only original/experimental, there's quality, the balance between tradition/modernity is ideal, the stage presence is strong, the interpretation is unmatched, the staging is well thought and aesthetic. @@liamtornqvist there's a good intention behind Fulenn, but the production lacked of quality. It's more a rave song with some folk than anything else, i was never really into it. And the performance was kinda weak : good staging but wild camera angles, average vocals and the girls lacked of stage presence. That explains the flop

I'm Andalusian and when I listened to this I was transported to my homeland, to the hot summer nights under the Moon, the smell of jasmine and orange blossoms, I got the goosebumps and cried.
