- What does Jon think of Boka's fluoride free toothpaste?
The unique thing about this paste is it contains nano-hydroxyapatite (n-Ha), which is non toxic and 100% biocompatible.

Nano-HA is roughly equivalent to fluoride in terms of its effectiveness: in some ways it is even superior (it penetrates deeper into the tooth).
duuh !!
It is said that the percentage of nano-hydroxyapatite contained within a toothpaste is important. What percent is contained in the Boka Toothpaste? What percent is needed?
The best thing is it isn't super toxic like fluoride.
@@potentatewags do yourself a favor and switch to Dr. Jens nHa toothpaste. I did my research and believe that one is monumentally better than boka.
@@balla2828Can you share why please?
Tried everything with an extremely sensitive tooth dentist said may need to be pulled. This simple nano hydroxyapatite saved my tooth, been two years now. And other less sensitve teeth stopped being sensitive.

@@balla2828 I don't know. Just know it works for me and a very affordable investment, maybe just have some faith and try it.🤷♂
@@ovaclock you don’t want to rely on faith in a product when a deep dive can be done to learn the truth.
@@ovaclock can you please explain what about it was different for you compared to your old toothpaste?
@@balla2828 read my original comment reviewing my experience with the toothpaste. I honestly can't make it any simpler. I'd strongly suggest you stick to regular old toothpaste.
Ela Mint is good but the recently added ginger flavor is even better, IMO. I realize taste is a level 2 (if not lower) consideration, but still… 👍 Great video
My kids love the coconut ginger flavored one.
U are so correct about the dentist approval. They want u to use all of the toxic junk.
They don't approve of this tooth paste.. Somewhere online there is an oral surgeon that says it bad for you, causing calcium build up in the pituitary gland. Vitimin k2 solves this issue but they tell you that.
Oh wow…

So I recently contacted Boca because I bought a tube about a 2 weeks ago and asked about the science behind there product . Most recent research shows that that 20 to 15 na in diameter and rod-shaped nHA is best and having a final product of 10% nHA.
Boca confirmed to me that the first two criteria were met but that the third was a proprietary amount.
I wrote back to them letting them know that proprietary was an term to use when dealing with motor oil but not something you're putting in your body or your mouth in order to benefit your health .I'll be moving on to something else. there are others out there not afraid to tell us exactly what is in their formula
I don’t like the glycerin in it so I bought OraRestore pro-mineralized instead. After the first day, I already didn’t have morning breath and my sensitive reduced dramatically.
Your sensitivity reduced with OraRestore or Boka?
what's wrong with glycerin?
i congratulate you . Well done
It’s not regular glycerin, it’s actually vegetable glycerin which is better. Bc it doesn’t clog little Pores in teeth which makes the other ingredients be able to penetrate it.
Boka is a good one. Id say its a better luxury toothpaste than Marvis. IMO you should review Theodent 300. In my experience trying several high end toothpastes like Boka, 300 is the clinically strongest toothpaste for the purpose of rebuilding enamel. On a clinical level the Rennou formula in Theodent is far superior to flouride. Definately comes at a premium though, because its a treatment. Good for those who suffer from weak enamel. Almost fixes it overnight.
99 dollars for a toothpaste. Only for fools as you don't need to spend that to have healthy teeth and gums.
@@Enigma814 Its not a normal toothpaste. Its a treatment for if you have weak enamel. I leave it on my teeth overnight after i eat things that are more acidic. Its also the best whitening toothpaste on the market and makes your teeth amazingly smooth.
@@jaredclark3231 i dont care for whitening or smooth but the stronger enamel is definitely worth 99 dollars.
entire review doesn't show how your teeth are after using this.... that's the most important...........
Considering that Theodent 300 is the current most expensive toothpaste on the market, it will definitely have ingredients far superior to a $5 tube of toothpaste
Thank you! Deciding between this toothpaste, Dr. Bronner’s and Redmond. This one is a little too expensive, I think. Decisions decisions!
If you buy it straight from there website, you can buy three at once for optimal affordability. It was absolutely worth it fore, they even threw I'm a free stainless steel tongue cleaner.
Have you reviewed Regenerate toothpaste and their Serum? I would be very interested in your review of it. I was looking at something to help with my tooth sensitivity and I found a few articles that pointed me at regenerate as a possible fix rather than using a toothpaste with Potassium nitrate which is just masking the issue and not fixing it which quite often is acid erosion.
Hi Rico, not tested this one as yet. We haven't reviewed many toothpastes in truth, but it is something we are looking to do more of in time. Regenerate is well regarded amongst many dental professionals and could well be a good option.
Sold.
This is an interesting toothpaste, I will be trying this with my Oclean Flow. Then I'll probably judge if it actually works.
It is said that the percentage of nano-hydroxyapatite contained within a toothpaste is important. What percent is contained in the Boka Toothpaste? What percent is needed?
That's a very good question.
@@komfykoala6083 I've heard boka has a small amount only. You should try Dr. Jens. Everything i have found about Dr Jens tells me that it is the best toothpaste for this type
@@monikam9069 so it’s no bueno?

Great video. Keep them coming. :)
I am LOVING the brand “Coral Nano Silver” toothpaste. I hope at some point you are able to review it because it has a really unique mechanism of action. They also have a foam option!
This is not one I have come across before. There are so many different products. It might be one we cover in the future, but I can't make any promises.
@@ElectricTeeth No worries. I know I already love it so the only reason it would be cool if you covered it is so more people could hear about it. But I know you guys are super busy and appreciate your time and efforts! I was also first 10 backer of UNObrush on Kickstarter (what a nightmare) and another backer said they are sending you the device to review so I’m really excited for that. I haven’t gotten mine yet despite being the 9th backer ever.
Hi Katie. What do you think of Unobrush? It has been somewhat of a nightmare hasn't it. We have actually received 2 units from backers to review, that is how keen people are for us to test it.
Please try Hysmile NHpro enamal care toothpaste.
Hydroxyapatite makes it worth the money (if it works that is).
Boka is amazing, my son has a lip tie that was causing enamel issues. After a few weeks of use, his teeth have almost fully recovered.
It is said that the percentage of nano-hydroxyapatite contained within a toothpaste is important. What percent is contained in the Boka Toothpaste? What percent is needed?
i wnat to know how much percentage of nano ha is there in boka.becoz only 2 to max 5 percentage of it is recommended
Boka is a good toothpaste, but their shipping is broken. I ordered in November, and they claimed they sent it after a month. So they sent another, and it’s been 3 months, and I still haven’t received it. It’s mid March, and still nothing. Their customer service is responsive, but they keep parroting “how was your customer service?” Bombing me with emails every 5 days… yet here I am, still no toothpaste.
Sorry to read this. Where are they shipping to? Inside the US?
How about Amazon. I hate supporting them, but it's the only place I can get it in Canada. Got it in two days.
why has nano hydroxyapatite only been sold in japan for 40 years. If this stuff was so good it should be everywhere.
My understanding is that Japan bought the patent from NASA. But I also think "politics" and money are involved may be it will but a dent (excuse the pun) in the $$$ of dental industry will make.
Big time propaganda behind fluoride to cover the asses of gov, big business, and various scientists because of how toxic it is and was pushed heavily for WW2 to have excess produced. Pushing the dental aspect was how they covered their asses.
Why doesn’t Boka say what the % of nano-hydroxyapatite is? They say it should be 10% or higher. What’s theirs?
2%
Who is "they" ?
What do you think of Carifree toothpaste?
Not tried this to be able to comment Liezl.
@@ElectricTeeth you should try it. It's a miracle worker.
This review could apply to ANY nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste. It's not a review of a product. There is no product comparison.

Can you do Crest Pro Health Advanced Deep Clean Mint toothpaste? It's like the most popular toothpaste on the market and not seeing it on your channel is a little confusing. But otherwise good review! 👍
Thanks for the suggestion. To date we have mainly reviewed toothbrushes and not toothpastes. It is something we are looking to do more of in time. I can't say right now if and when we might review Crest Pro Health Advanced Deep Clean, but it's on the list.
Nice! 👍
Great. Now talk about the Xylitol.
Combine it with a fluoride toothpaste and it'll be more cavity resistant
Did you notice it being too abrasive?
I did not.
Nope definitely not.
It's not, it has a thick gel texture as opposed to a paste.
My guy needs some braces 😭😭💀💀
Great. Now talk about the Xylitol.
