I want a (keto) cookie for watching this @ 6AM on my 3rd sip of coffee, lol. I send my sons a dental kit in their holiday gift box every year including a tube of Boka (thanks to Dr. B's info). This year I was so burned out on doing orders/shipments, I sent them my own last 2 tubes of Boka and am waiting for post-holiday to restock. So this is perfect timing to try FYGG! btw, I inquired with Boka a couple of yrs ago if they had any 3rd party testing, and I was told it had been discussed, but the answer was 'no', and I've never followed up on that.
Can you cite some research about the effective percentage of nano-hydroxyapatite being 1-3%? I am having trouble locating anything citing less than 5%. Most studies I am seeing seem to use between 5-10%. I just purchased your toothpaste, but now I'm wondering if the percentage of n-HA is actually too low.
@@calandraanthony1178 No, they did not reply, and as far as I can tell it still looks like 5% is a more established minimum. Also, ever since I started this FYGG toothpaste, my teeth feel dirty almost all the time. Not a fan so far, and they haven't done much to reassure me. Will probably switch to Nobs once this runs out. It's 5% n-HA.
@@Apologia315 You are SO kind to reply and share your experience. Thanks so much! I'll look into Nobs, as well. I've never heard of that brand, but now I'm curious! I wish navigating all of this was easier 😭.
It is hard to know what's going on with the percentages because as this video states, they begin with 20% but that means a 20% n-HaP solution, not 20% of the paste content. So when someone states 5%, are they beginning with 5% n-HaP solution, then making that a certain percentage of the the toothpaste, or are they ending with the 5% total of the toothpaste? Most brands list NO percentage! So that's why I am looking at the Apagard from Japan, it says 20% (? still confused tho).
Your videos are very appreciated because you are a straight shooter, which is often hard find in the medical field. When will the fygg brand of toothpaste be launched?
This makes no sense, how is the 8.6% varnish of 40 mL 172$, but you can get 10% nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste for 20$..... I understand a varnish is applied and coated, but the ingredients between the toothpaste and varnish are near identical too?
Hello !! Here in Portugal we have "Couto" toothpaste. These are the ingredients, by this order: Aqua, Hydroxyapatite, Glycerin, Potassium Chlorate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium C12-18 Alkyl Sulfate, Mentha Piperita, Menthol, Paraffinum Líquidum, Anethol, Sodium Saccharin, Thymol, Eugenol and Limonene. What do you have to say about it? Are those a good combination of products for a toothpaste, is it a good toothpaste??
I heard Dr Burhenne in an interview say that use of essential oils as "flavors" including Mint in the toothpaste is not recommended, and it is pretty difficult to find nano hydroxyapatite pastes without "mint," etc. I figured the Book "flavors" might be better: I really enjoyed their Cherry Blossom one (very subtle), the Coconut-Ginger (LOVED the natural ginger flavor) and I tried the Orange children's version, all from Boka. I know these are probably using essential oils but they seemed pretty subtle flavor-wise. I made mistake of ordering Bioniq thinking it was flavorless, and it was SO excessively MINTY that it literally burns my mouth like Listerine almost; did not feel good at all, going to return to Amazon. Maybe I'll try Fygg now.
3,1% is way too low for a beneficial effect! Should be at least 10%. AND it should be a mix of 20-40 micron nano particles so the crystalline matrix can form properly.
I have been waiting for sooo long only to be met by the harsh truth: it's only available in the US 😢. Well, maybe one day - we will be able to buy it in the UK... I certainly hope so.
Boka is available I guess ? And in another videa dr B is talking about Risewell also. Here in the netherlands is karmicare ( awake and aslaeep ) an option, maybe...
I currently use Risewell Pro Kids for my son, which has 5% nano-hydroxyapatite and 10% micro-hydroxyapatite. Is this overkill? It's quite expensive but I'm almost afraid to switch. Is the Fygg varnish available for home applications to use on a weekly basis for kids?
I just made my purchase. Previously I used the Japanese version Apagard Royal. I’m currently implementing Dr Ellie Philips’s protocol (attention to the ingredients) with Apagard Renamel & Apagard Deep Care rinse. Now my teeth is super smooth but I’m willing to try anything new. Remember to take xylitol & use a tongue scraper!
I was switched to the Ellie program but my receded gums are receded more because of Listerine ( alcohol) I have become a very dry mouth after ringing. And my tooth became so sensitive. I stopped this protocol and going back to hydroxyapatite toothpaste and alcohol free mouthrinse. I use now before brushing the Breath mouthrinse and after eating xylitol chewing gum. And with crest toothpaste I became mouth sore because of SLS in it.
Nano is just the particle size and it is more effective than micro (larger size) according to the research. What is your aversion to the nano version? It's not like nano-bots or nanotech. Literally just means super small.
remember the nano form works best, especially for sensitivity

The video states that the regular toothpaste is 2 to 3%, not 10%. Still, the price of the varnish is very expensive.

Why is the concentration so low? 3.1% sounds very little. I like your other ingredients, but most other toothpastes I see contain 10%.
