    • @southbug27
      @southbug27 11 месяцев назад

      To be real bagels, they have to be boiled in water with barley malt first & then baked. It’s the boiling step that gives bagels a different texture than rolls or regular bread. Obviously, people are free to mix the ingredients for a bagel & just bake it, but it would have a different texture.

My doctor was amazed to when he looked at my tests he said Linda what are you doing you no longer have fatty liver disease you vitamin levels are perfect ..except for Vitamin D you are not insufficient you are severely deficient. Well I followed his eating and exercise and getting out in the sun recommendation’s plus the D3 supplement. The next year my Vitamin D level went up to the 60’s and my weight went down to about 120 pounds wearing clothes now I am that sky clad. It’s a better BMI for my height🤭🍀🌟🍀👍👍👍🌺🖖🖖🖖🍀🌟🍀👋🙂👍

      Yes, it's the same case with me. Maybe it could be made in a salty version and baked in the oven. Worth a try, don't you think? Do you have any idea?

      @@tungavidya hi , when I started my journey to get healthy I loved eating Biscuits and savoury pies . I used scale’s when I baked biscuits . so I divided the ingredients by the number of servings in the recipe and treated myself to one once a week, then a fortnight, then monthly until I lost any desire for a biscuit. I had to make one at a time because if I made a batch I would’ve eaten most up in one day if not all. I did something similar with my chicken pot pies I stopped using a bottom crust still used the same large top crust on the individual pot pies after a while I reduced the top to a smaller circle . Oh the last time I made gravy it was about two tablespoons perhaps four of gravy a bit of chicken fat and broth and enough flour to thicken it I had it on the last biscuit with baked chicken.and steamed vegetables 🥦🧅🍠 . We have choices to make. At the moment I have about twelve hours left on my forty eight hour fast that I do weekly. I no longer have pot pie but I’m putting avocado on top of the casseroles when I do eat Asian inspired spicy meals I hope you will find my thoughts useful . I don’t use powdered grains just another name for sugar. Take care of yourself.

      Boiling the water and adding flour is how you make pastry dough. It makes a difference in the texture. These probably have a flaky texture similar to croissants. It's too bad you criticized, these are probably exceptionally good.
