- Learn "The Humours of Tullycrine", a beautiful hornpipe from County Clare, with Tunes From Doolin.
“The Humours of Tullycrine” is a wonderful hornpipe and has been one of my favorite tunes for many years. It is quite a common hornpipe around Doolin and Clare in general, and I associate it accordion player Sean Vaughan in particular. It is often followed by another beautiful hornpipe, “Mickey Callaghan’s Fancy”.

thanks a million
You're so welcome, thanks for the comment 🙏🎶💚
I adore the rhythm of a hornpipe. This tune and the playing is truly masterful. So emotional. Thank you.
I also play the concertina and this is undoubtedly my favourite tune
Also one of mine Lorcan!! I think it was one of the first 10 tunes I learned and been one of my favourites ever since 🥰🥰 Micheàl O Raghallaigh recorded a great version on his album "Inside Out"!
A lovely tune played beautifully well done
Sounds great. Uncomplicated perhaps but played with such style. I love those occasional chords coming in to pin the tune down.
Thanks Chris! Sometimes it is good to let the tune speak for itself I find, and it is much easier for others to learn too. But I have to admit and plead guilty of not playing that simply all the time hahaha!
What make of concertina are you playing theres a lovely sound off it
Too bad I can't put 10 thumb ups.
Awww thank you so much 🫶🎶☘
